ZvZ: What to do against mass hydras?

I'm pretty sure roaches + banelings will easily seal the deal. Just make sure you don't forget to upgrade attack for both your roaches and banelings. Because if anything, in a mirror where its roaches vs hydralisks upgrades are pretty important. + the Banelings explode hurts even more.

Brood lords wouldn't work, and you wouldn't want the game to get that long anyways. You can mass a roach army faster then hydralisk as well.

My ZvZ's always are engaged in a 1 base fight 0 expansion fight, either 3 options I go for. Fast Roaches (If the Zerg goes baneling while I'm massing roaches then they are f$#@) Banelings (Rarely works though as ZvZ players are getting used to beat that crap), or quick 1 base tech to mutalisks with 2-4 spine crawlers near mineral lines at start and then spread to entrance with creep tumor later. I think I hardly ever see Hydralisk play though.
