Seriously, I feel like the Zerg has the most interesting gameplay of any race in any game I've ever seen.
Quail before the fury of the Swarm.

 

I love Zergs.

I grew up loving and adoring Dinosaurs and Zergs resembles a lot like the Dinosaurs.
When I first saw an Ultralisk in SC1 (watching my friends play), I wet myself and said, "I got to get this game and build this unit."

Hopefully, the Ultralisk returns in SC2. If not, hopefully Blizzard remakes a unit that is bigger, badder, and cooler then the Ultralisk.

 

Geez, they had better produce something worth my saying that it completely pwns the game.

Especially in response to the Mothership, which had better be a super unit.

The only reason I want the MS to be like that is because I want Zerg to have something so awesome that it counters it! :-D

Better not be something as gay as the devourers either!

 

I think the Zerg is the only race in the entire history of videogames that are a group of organisms that mutate, not build. Zerg > all, although I'm much better as Terran, and I hate Terran above all... see the problem?

 

/\ it's like how I hate the zerg, but I love Kerrigan.

 

Something I noticed:

The Protoss have the mothership and the colossus, the terran have the battlecruisers and the thor. WHAT DO HAVE THE ZERG ?

Just mass attack ?

It could balance the game. I loved to see a giant zerg rush in the videos. maybe a big rush of mutalisks can defeat a mothership ? But if we have just ten mutalisks, we don't do anything.

 

OMG ! Flying zerglings. Now they have wings ! They remind me the mass grasshoppers which devour the fields of corn everywhere in the world. They are so many that you can't disencumber from them. HEHE

OMG I am invaded by those grasshoppers .... oh no, there are new zerglings !!

 

Yeah the zerg shouldnt get any super unit like terran and protoss, mass attack all the way.

And as stated before thoose wings are for the swarming detail, they use it to jump over eachother, if you watch the protoss gameplay video you see that they only use the wings when they jump

Well... sticking with the "traditional" role of the Zergs is both a good thing and a bad thing. Yes, the Zerg should be distinct, but it's also not fair to players to expect them to meet EVERY superunit threat with smaller units in a massed attack. It's just too much macro.

This is the reason they came up with the Defiler. Mutalisks and scourge simply weren't enough to counter capital ships. The irony is that they ended up countering just the corsair the best.

I'm all for Zerg having a unit that counters the Mothership. I'm especially expectant of more powerful Zerg air options. The Devourer (or anything like it) simply won't cut it. I'm talking about a unit that ISN'T a Mutalisk mutation. That seems like a rather roundabout way of getting a powerful unit. Make it a sort of Ultralisk of the skies.

Perhaps it IS a large unit, but can only attack one at a time, etc. I made a suggestion in the Zerg Mechanics thread about a giant "sucker" unit that slams into capital ships and tries to digest their armor. Scourge-like, but not sacrificial.

 

Well then it should be a bit weaker then the thor so the zerg can have more of them. Then theyl both get a powerful unit and can have the 'mass army' feel

 

Zergs super unit should be a queen that can infest a unit and take control of it just like Kerigan does in the storyline.
It will be something like the mastermind from c&c: tiberium wars just that it flies (slowly of course)

 

Hmm, thats actually an good idea but it wouldnt fit in storywise, if it could infest units the protoss would all be enslaved and so on

From my point of view the zerg are just what they are... an terran experiment gone bad. Sincerely i don't know who are worst... the stupid terrans that made them or simply the zerg... (Personal opinion in here guys don't jump on me). Overall looking at the 3 races the zerg from my point of view seem to be the most powerfull as they are cheaper, faster, deadlier.

For the new unit that we are all waiting (and i bet the zerg will have a super unit for sure) we can think about anything we want... Think about it... The zerg can evolve changing as they wish. And their are fast... So i won't be amazed to see flying ultralisks that smash battle cruisers with their huge claws or a mighty evolved queen that can send scourges to their targets like an carrier. I repeat everything can happen with the zerg. Blizzard has total freedom on those guys not like the terran or the protoss which had some limitation (tradition/history/technology). That is let's say the beauty of nature and it's evolution.

 

Well you're right about part of that.

The Zerg are the most powerful. We don't fear casualties, our speed is unmatched, and we strive for the good of the Swarm.

But we're also NOT a product of a terran experiment. It was actually the Xel'Naga.

 

Well zerg dont acutally evovle, they just assimilate dna strains from other cratures. The zerg scrouge come from kamikaze bees (you can clearly see its stinger on the picture)

and btw i think that the zerg is the ones evolving at teh slowest rate. While We Terrans are the ones making most progress, We are already starting to take back our planets and without your overmind you cant create any new cerebrates so we will kill them all then you zerg will be nothing but history!!!

Well it was your masters (the ones you worship ) that created the zerg from the first place. And our psychic abillities is also evolving very fast too

We can stand against the brutal and barbaric hordes of the zerg and we can even match you protoss that has thousands of years more evolution then us, doesent that say something?

3. Protoss (you couldnt even defend you own homeworld)

It's not like zerg even tried to invade Earth, and even if they would want to invade Earth the Protoss would have helped them because they have Honor not like you terrans
