Duh, it was named after the behemoth creature because it is large and has about he same size. - It says that in the battle.net compendium, don't know about the wiki. - And most people just say bc anyway and do not even know of the behemoths. -Including me before I started this topic- One quistion: there is nothing in the wiki about the behemoth being infested by the zerg, or being put in their gene pool. So how do they use them?

"Behemoths drifted through the void of space, gaining air from the atmosphere of planets. However, they were incorporated into the zerg gene pool when they passed close to Zerus, lured in by the psychic beacon of the Overmind.[2][1] The zerg developed resistance to vacuum exposure from them, which gave the zerg the ability to travel through the vacuum of space.[2]"

Alas, the main source is Shadow of the Xel'Naga. It says there (and on the wiki) that they were incorporated into the gene pool.

I think the scenarist and the creators of the units didn't work together to think about this question. Hehe, they had to because what you mention is something very interesting. And this has to get an answer from Blizzard.
