It wasn't insects it was diseases that made the aliens sick in war of the world, iirc.

Can't behemoths make a worm hole or something?

What do you mean with behemoth? I did a quick wikipedia search, but something tells me that you were not talking about a giant ox-like creature created by god.

    Behemoth at http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Behemoth

There's no evidence it can travel FTL, we just know they carried the zerg troops as cargo.

(Wikipedia deleted most of its StarCraft info long ago.)

Cool, I made a bookmark of that site. Anyways, it says that overlords also can travel in space by themselves, so why do they need to be loaded into behemoths first? That just makes no sense. And about ftl travel: they have no need for that. They use wormholes, which are way faster than travelling even multiple times the speed of light. -- No science stuff intended, just following normal sci-fi rules here. --

"Cool, I made a bookmark of that site."

    Glad to hear it.

"Anyways, it says that overlords also can travel in space by themselves, so why do they need to be loaded into behemoths first?"

Why does the Enterprise carry shuttles? (Same answer.)

"And about ftl travel: they have no need for that. They use wormholes, which are way faster than travelling even multiple times the speed of light."

But what is making the wormholes? These aren't Star Trek-styles "there's a wormhole between these two systems" wormholes, they're more like Babylon 5 "open a wormhole here" wormhole.

The Overmind probably made those wormholes in StarCraft I, but it died. Even in Brood War (and Shadow of the Xel'Naga) Kerrigan didn't have access to an Overmind, yet she was able to move troops around several planets.

No scientific explanation is needed, but we need to know what is making those wormholes.

*ultra-facepalm* I forgot that behemoths would of course be unable to land on a planet to pick up troops, but I see no problem with leaving the behemoths out, sincOverlords can also go into wormholes by themselves.

As for Kerrigan and making those wormholes, I have no idea. She might use her psionic powers or something, enhanced by using the few cerebrates that are left.

    Never mind the behemoths.

Kerrigan is much stronger than she used to be, but it's hard to believe she inherited the ability to create wormholes. There are no cerebrates left - this was confirmed by Metzen more than a year ago.

I thought that at least the player cerebrate was left. I wonder who you will 'be' then in the zerg campaign. Overlords float over the battlefield, so that rules them out. -cause you would be able to get harmed- As far as infested creatures go, they are pretty much braindead. Duran only acted like he was infested and Kerrigan was infested in a special way.

"You" will be Infested Kerrigan. Same style for the other campaigns.

Kerrigan has an infested comrade named Ethan Stewart (infested new style, so with brains), although we don't know if he'll survive the book series he was introduced in.

Queens are intelligent (enough to design the baneling); I hope one gets to be a hero.

Nah, if a queen gets to be a hero, then people will start complaining that the mothership should be reverted to being a superunit again. Although I like the idea of having a unit besides Kerrigan that you have with you on most missions. It gives the campaign a more personal touch. -as far as having sympathy for a huge tumor-creating creature goes-

Heart of the Swarm will come out more than a year after Wings of Liberty. People will be used to the mothership by then.

(And I woudln't be too surprised if the only mothership in the campaign is a hero.)

If it is, then please let it have the original abilities, or every protoss player will go mad. Hehe.

  13. I am quoting you on this just so you will feel embarrassed and ashamed of yourself.

I am surprised no one else has corrected him already on his lack of literacy.

Yeah, damn that H.G. Wells, typical hollywood scriptwriter hack

    Why should I feel embarrased?

    - You do not even know me.
    - How am I supposed to know about every piece of literature out there?

I thought the behemoths just hold all the overlords and the forces until they made it near the planet.
(at first i thought the zerg would die inside all those fatty flabs)
but how would kerrigan get all her forces off char?
    with behemoths?
how 'bout, battlecruiser engine+behemoth=FTL behemoth with lazors?

    Lol @ lasers on behemoths.
You can't put a behemoth in a bc op attach it to one. Behemoth is like, the largest creature ever. Meh, we probably will see an explanation for this when the game is released. Lots of people are asking about this, and Blizzard usually comes up with more lore if the fans complain about something.

"how 'bout, battlecruiser engine+behemoth=FTL behemoth with lazors?"

    Same problem with the engineers.

Also, one of the battlecruiser classes is Behemoth. Talk about confusing...
