    I like this one, but i would like the spawning pool to unlock lair, which allows u to build hive, after u get infestation pit. the hive unlocks the nydus network, not infestation pit :D

    I like the idea of the roach warren morphing into the ultralisk cavern. As mentioned earlier, towards the first page, each zerg building transforming into a higher tier building would be nice. This would allow less drones to be "wasted". However the clear drawbakc being what happens if they destroy your ultralisk cavern? You lose ultralisks and roaches? Thats imbalanced for obvious reasons. But it would be interesting if you like lost a building, but the building left behind a arva that quickly rebuilt the building used to transform into the destroyed building. Tons of possibilities.

    The whole reason i made the ultra evolve from the roach den is because both units and structures seem to have a similarness to them and also the fact it would make sense.

    As for the lair i really see it as a hinderance to alot of things and completely useless and the fact is this idea is from starcraft 1 and personally I would like to see something a bit different for sc2.

    lairs are too kewl T.T
    not really completely useless lol
    they allow u to go up a tier ;)

    i think the spawning pool should unlock the infestation pit whitch in turn unlocks hive and skip lair completely.

    also maybe you could make the new evolution ("building") basicly make a layer of amor for that building.

    so you make a roach warren and then even if its upgrading w/e you can morph a new building an top (like armor) and that new layer unlocks new tech.

    so if the armor is destroyed you lose the highest part of that building.

    anyone like that idea?
