this idea sounds fitting for the zerg swarm mentality and will add more fear to the growth of the zerrg swarms

I remember when I went to the first Blizzcon I was able to play SC: Ghost. In it zerglings had a stackable bloodlust aura, which I think would work pretty well.

The more zerglings that there were in a certain area of each other, the faster they would run and attack.

sorry about that I just like to voice my opinions and defend my opinions...
kinda funny about the hydralisk name of the poster.
however I would like to hear more about the bloodlust aura the zerglings had in SC ghost. It sounds intriguing. I never learned much about Ghost it seemed like a shoddy half baked side trip from the Rts's legacy.

By hearing more i mean like how much faster would they move/attack. was it noticeable or kinda innefective. also (afterthought) the armor debuff would not be that bad against swarmed units but it would be catastrophic against armored units such as the ultralisk.

Well concerning a noticeable increase, I was far too enthralled with the game to give small details like that any thought... Sorry :(

    you dissapoint me :bad:
oh well It sounds devistating for rushes though if its a low teir tech high teair it raises zerglings up a abit and makes em a little more effective, they still ge 1 shotted by any unit in the game but less'll die when they get to their targets(lunch) faster.

the idea for the goup power up is good becase i would send in like 40 zerglings and they would die to quikly for any major damage to be done so the zerg wasnt as scary as they where made out to be. the best part about this idea is that its a passive ablilaty that does not require energy or up gradeing on the players part and would help balance the zerg against say the thor and the new might of the protoss

    40 Zerglings without major damage?!?!

12 Zerglings could take out a lot when they are fully teched in sc1.

SImply spread them out and you could cripple any base, as long as they don't have a choke point or Zerglings won't work initially.

star craft is a rts just because the idea wasn't in the first one dos not mean that it should not be considered. and didn't blizzard make war craft? its not like there adding orks to the game besides with the new improvements to the Terran and protoss forces and not knowing what blizzard has done with the zerg it sounds like a reasonable improvement to the zerg swarm

40 was an exaggeration but the point was that the swarm could be more usefull

No, it could be more useful to mass the Zerglings, sending them to attack key units and structures like you are supposed to.
Don't you people realize the effect of a swarm?

i liked this.the swarming things fits amazingly with the zerg.and it would be simple to keep it from being overpowered,so  for you
