    This sounds an awful lot like the tyranids, which is where blizzard got the idea of zerg from

    They would come, assimilate positive traits into they're biology, and leave it nothing more than a barren rock

    maybe this thing could be a sort of "protect" or "destroy" thing

    not a unit that u cna build, but is vital to teh storyline
