Zerg missing an Air Caster?

We don't really need UMS for that now, you just need a Phoenix and several Corruptors

Hmm.....What is this UMS you keep talking about? Sorry, but I am new and have only looked on the Starcraft 2 website. Hehe I think all you would need is a Mothership, a couple of carrier's, some warp ray's and phoenix's and they should tear through the enemy? Also, is there still a unit similar to the Arbiter? As in, a unit that can cloak units and/or buildings? and also have a few additional spells.

 

Use Map Settings, any game that isn't an actual melee, go kill everything that isn't you or your ally(ies) games.

 

It's a game type for using a map that a player has custom made, otherwise, if you have it set to another game type with that map, it won't work right.

The Mothership is the closest thing to the arbiter now Gand.

 

Ah thanks. I have done that a few times in the past on brood war. My friend thinks that if there isn't a unit like the Arbiter so he can cloak his units WITHOUT using energy then he would think its stupid. I agree with him. The cloaking field may be good.....but if thats it wont people complain? Like me? xD

 

Cloaking field was good, made for very good ambushes.

 

Blackhole was awesome too >.> but it was kinda unbalanced the cloaking field does make it look like an Arbiter maybe it will get recall also cause cloaking field is passive.

 

Is th cloaking field passive? I've watched few vids and it had to be activated.

I thought the cloaking field was passive like the Arbiter, could be wrong on that.

 

so far as info goes on that it seems that it needs to be activated, causing the MS to stop moving, but it has a large radius, tho i think its a bit counter productive, because even if the enemy doesnt have detectors they can just FF on the MS that you can only have 1 of right now.

 

They should have a dectetors by late game cause mothership cost like a ton and is tier no idea lol.

 

Just imagine corrupting a mothership and having ultras. Invisible living tanks. Scary.

Motherships would make a nice temp air caster for the zerg.

Lol, would take quite a few to corrupt it dont you think? Maybe you cant corrupt it? Because it is a very special unit after all. It might not let you use its abilities if you do/can corrupt it though.

 

It only attack air if you corrupt it. They stated that in Q&A batches?

 

well in the old builds they were able to, but now they are only disabled and only give sight of where they are til death.
