This idea is pretty good since it relates to how the Dragoon facility on Auir got taken over by the Zerg (In the art clip on the SCII site it shows you all these drawings, and one if a Protoss looking place with purple goop everywhere)

I was just kidding about the last one. Obviously a building morphing into a unit is not strange at all. I mean the Zerg in SC have units that morph into buildings? It works.

actually Rex's idea doesn't sound that bad. Zerg could've infested the last dragoon shrine and make their own twisted dragoons. If they weren't too similar to the protoss one it'd be cool

Zerg buildings can't move, they rely on creep and make creep sometimes. Taking one off could kill another. And a flying hatchery wouldn't work, as making ground units while on top of abysses would kill the units.

On the dragon idea, remember those huge bone remains on sc1 on badlands terrian. And since zergs infest other species don't you think it'd be cool if they had the zerg super unit as that creature (it looked like a dragon in my imagation [the bones])

What if?!?!?!! Make the dragon supa-fly and make it fly, breathe fire and all that but since it is such an awesome unit, make the rest of the base that its supporting die off. So this doesn't account for other minor bases far away. Also, give it super command points.

Dragons are more fantasy. (Read, Warcraft) let's leave them there.

im not thinking of a dragon dragon the can breath fire i mean a draogn who is huge can fly and jsut destroys stuff with its claws and teeth and when the zerg infest it mabye it can shoot spines of acid spores

In my opinion, games are always better if there is dragons, or some dragon like creature in them. Adding a little fantasy to a video game doesn't hurt it, the zerg need a cool loking air unit besides the muta, and a dragon-like creature would blend in well with the zerg units design.

@ijffdrie: But wouldn't that go against the physics of StarCraft, cuz most Zerg flying units use wings, gas or even both (Queen), and those dragons just fly without any viable explanation as far as I can see.

[offtopic] But I do agree Asian dragons look better than European :] [/offtopic]

@DarkTemplol: And when we say dragon units we mean the basis of a dragon not fire breathing fantasy dragons, we even have animals named with dragon such as: Komodo Dragon, Bearded Dragon, Sea Dragon (type of Seahorse) and I'm sure theres more.. and looking at them animals you can see what a dragon is.
