Heard of them before, but not sure where.

And an undead dragon is a dragon what was dead, but is now alive, not a dieing dragon.

You got a point there. :p

btw, a Frost Wyrm is a flying Undead unit from WC3. It looks like a dragon without skin, all bony and evil.

    Interesting idea.

I think it would be pretty scary for you to see these underground lines moving tward your base, but there needs to be a way to counter it. Possibly it can work like the lurker and can be hit by AG attacks while burrowed, or it has to come out of the ground to attack.

It would make more sence for the player to need detection to see it underground. In sc, players couldn't see buried zerg units, and this was the zerg's best strategy for ambushes. So the same idea should be introduced back into sc2.

    True enough.

It would just need decent life to get it to its target. Also, maybe since its underground, the grounds could act like armor, decreasing the amount of damage the zerg would take while moving around. But it would take full danage when above ground, attacking enemy buildings and units.

I was thinking either a melee attack using large claws that it uses to dig through terrain with, or a ranged acid attack somewhat like the hydralisk's attack, but with a little bit longer range.

I just though of something, if this was in the game, it would be a decent replacement to the old lurker from SC: Broodwar. It could be a third tier unit that mutates from the hydralisk; if the hydra stays in SC2.

I think it should be thinner and longer than the lurker, perhaps having the same basic shape as the defiler, but bigger. The long, slender shape is great for burrowing in the ground because it requires smaller tunnels and it is easier for a thin body to slide across the tunnel floor.

yes, and give it wings like the zerglings have, so it looks like a dragon! jk ;D

I like the four jaws part, so it looks more vicious. How fast should it be able to move underground. I was thinking around marine speed, but then get an upgrade so it moves as fast as a normal zergling.

Might be a cool re-design for the gaurdian. I don't know, I personally never liked the whole giant floating crab look.

A new look for the guardian would be neat, but we were taking about a replacement for the lurker, lol.

Maybe the new guardian could be a dragon-like unit that shoots flame or acid long distances. Despite what meee thinks, I think a dragon-like creature would fit the zerg's new look.
