anyways, stalkers aren't wounded dark templar. they are dark templar willingly infused into the exoskeleton to defend their people. its on the blizzard site if you dont believe me, under stalker.

its an EPIC battle where ZERATUL loses

 

according to intro video of the terran campaign, zeratul might lose that battle against kerrigan... isnt he?

 

He was probably outnumbered by the Queen Bitch and her zerragoons and thus forced on the run.

 

its possible that zeratul was searching for the hybrids, then when he finished exploring a temple that possibly contained them, he met with kerrigan, who had the same purpose. they fought, and in the middle of it, the hybrids emerged and forced the both of them to run.

Yeah I have had enough of the cool protoss heroes dyineg. Why can't they kill someone insignificant that noone cares about like artanis

 

I liked Artanis just for his voice.

Anything in the story is open to speculation right now, but I hope that Zeratul doesn't end up dying. We already had Fenix AND Tassadar do that in the first Starcraft, but hey its makes stuff more dramatic .

Yes, but he didnt mention kerrigan or the zerg, just the Xel'Naga, leading me to believe that she wasnt the cause of his injuries.
and, while he was the one being attacked, he was also succesfuly blocking her. and he does have a good 2ft on her.

 

Now that we pretty much know It's Kerrigan their I believe I have an idea as to why they fought and why they were their. I believe Kerrigan has been looking for Xel'Naga artifacts for the past 4 years. That is why there has been no Zerg activity. As Kerrigan traveled from Temple to Temple gather what she could she began to understand Duran and his Hybrids. On one temple she goes to gather more Xel'Naga Artifacts and information on Duran she finds Zeratul. A battle ensues and she and him fight. Both are wounded and scurry to their friends/homes. Zeratul finds that Jim has picked up a Artifact of the Xel'Naga and warns him of what he has found. And thus is my theory.

 

how does kerrigan know of the hybrids though? it was zeratul who saw them first hand.

 

I think she wasn't looking for information on Duran and his Hybrids, but, for more information on the Xel'Naga. She only stumbled upon one of his creations or some information pertaining to Duran and his ilk. That information she found scared her and thus she begins her search for more information on the Xel'Naga artifacts and their connections to Duran.

 

erm is it a starcraft fact r theory...and seriously how could she even found out about the hybrids when shes to busy destroying/conquer other planets...

 

no one has heard from the zerg for 4 years. thats why she isnt busy conquering. she retreated to char for apparently no reason and has stayed there.

 

I'm sorry, I may have missed something. How do we know that the zerg have been quiet for 4 years?

hmmm interesting. I thought a swarm that big would have to eat something. Maybe they're eating each other. I'd be fine with that. The less zerg there are, the easier it is for the protoss to kill them all.

 

How can they possibly put an army that consist of a few billion units on a planet alone anyway...
