Well she might have received some kind of martial arts training parallel to her ghost training.

Since his wrist projector is gone, it is weird that she isn't slicing him to bits. Only reason she'd go all Bruce Lee on him would probably be that her claws are gone. Somehow...

 

maybe zeratull has deactivated his warp scythes because he isnt going to kill her but capture her, or he is just playing with her

OR even better, zeratul has become so powerfull that he doesnt require technology to augment his psychic powers!!!!

2ndly u havta put in perspective that we dont know how far into the game this is gonna take place so alot could have happened by the point where zeratul and kerigan fight so mayb theyve foght b4 in SC2 and this is just the last battle and in some other battles theyve injured each other dearly such as cuting off kerigans blades or destoying zeratuls blade projectile thingy

also u havta understand that Zeratul HATES kerigan after she betrayed the protoss and made raszagal under kerrigans influence so raszagal was like her puppet so zeratul had to kill raszagal to free her from a life of being kerrigans puppet so mayb this is zeratuls attack mayb hes wanting some revenge well those r my thoughts also we dont know how old zeratul is mayb he was alive bak when they were still primitive so mayb he is getting old and to whoever suggested that after zeratul kills kerigan (if he wins) that he went off and killed tons of other ppl like the Xel'Naga be realistic whithout the Xel'Naga the Protoss would still be like animals and also were talkin bout a WHOLE civilization know Zeratul is cool but hes not that cool and also whithout the Xel'Naga's temple on sharkars then the zerg would still be there so im sure Zereatul loves the Xel'naga lol also yes wat if Zeratul dousnt need that machine to deploy hes blades any more and if this isnt his attack and its kerrigans then he would 1st have to counter and then he would have to get out hes blades

No bro. I'm not stating opinion here. That IS a hydralisk getting shot, and that IS Zeratul duking it out with Kerrigan (thats her foot you see hitting his hand)

*edit* Look up the new art for the Hydralisk and you'll realize I'm right. Zerg got an almost complete aesthetic overhaul.

 

Its a hydralisk all right...The hybrid most probably gonna look like Protoss/Zerg , the one getting shot looks only like a normal hydralisk thats being overhaul ( like Hadean stated ).

Possibly this fight between Kerrigan and Zeratul happens before Zeratul shows up on the Hyperion and is actually the reason that he gets wounded: Kerrigan kicked his ass (But probably got pretty messed up too.) What are they fighting over? Artifacts. There's probably one in that cave. They both showed up to get it and had some indiana jones fight scene. Then Zeratul disappears... and reappears on the hyperion.

I lol'd reading that extrenuously long post with poor spelling a few posts up. You "havta" think about redundancy and stop saying "havta" it doesn't make you an E-Gangster.

On-topic. Zeratul probably sliced Kerrigans blades to pieces before getting the shit knocked out of his equipment, they ended up fighting one on one with no weapons, and Zeratul obviously got away because he meets Raynor injured. Im guessing he was trying to procure another 'Artifact' and Kerrigan intervened, when he learned 'James' had one he opted to inform him of the end of all life plot by the Xel' Naga. That could happen mid-game for all we know, and Zeratul could have died there, leaving Raynor in the crapshoot with regards to knowing what the hell is going on. I don't think it was EARLY game per se, the order seems to go in

Zeratul vs. Kerrigan fight
Jim gets artifact
Zeratul turns up injured.

Now considering they're researching Vikings it can't be that late in the game, and if they're in full scale plottage I don't think anyone is going to care about a mutiny. Although for all intents and purposes that could have been there strictly for the demo. Then again, we could have gone through the entire Protoss campaign by this time...

 

I think it is the early game, maybe the second or third senario, since Viking is the second earliest unit Terran has. Jim's raiders are not involved into the main thread at that point, so I don't think it could be the middle game. But obviously something happened, so I agree that Protoss campaign could be the first.
