Zeratul's opponent in cinematic trailer

I think he was referring to Illidan, both had a fight at the ending scene of FT

 

its Ilidan! omg! one of the main characters in warcraft III.hes actually one of the coolest character blizzard has ever created. you cant compare him to the dread lords. ilidan clowns them.

well, thanks to whoever answered my question above (yeah, illidan's the name, and yeah, it was my question).

anyway, just wanna know, if there's really such a fight, who's on whose side? personally i would root for zeratul, cos firstly i'll always root for the protoss (though i love terran tech and ATTITUDE! MUAHAHA), and secondly i think kerrigan's attitude sucks. she always bosses you around in the zerg campaign.

anyway, element, that's a f***ing nice signature you have there. do you design them or what?

 

Zeratul all the way. He's protoss, he's Dark Templar and his far better than Kerrigan as a character

 

yeah, as units Zerastul is a lot stronger then Kerrigan
he has 100 dmg, 400 shield, 60 hp
she has 50 dmg 300 hp
and I think she has a little slower atack rate then Zeratul

but since SC2 is + 10 years, Zeratul could be geting old and she as a Zerg can evolve a little to get stronger

 

erm... but she has all those skills. she's a better support character than zeratul, if you ask me. although i still root for zeratul. ;D

 

Actually, Kerrigan has 400 hp not 300.
And the fact that Kerrigan owns Zeratul as unit says nothing story wise. Same thing as that 15 guys with machine guns could never own a behemoths like battlecruisers or carriers.

 

I hope Zeratul wins because he's one of my fav characters, but at the same time i hope Kerrigan wins because she's evil and i hate the good guys winning all the time :no:

 

zeraltul, i think is going to lose. although i like him very much, with the zerg going all willy dilly, he is probably gonna lose to her.

 

If Blizzard were to pit Kerrigan and Zeratul against each other, it is hard to say who would win. First of all, we must assume that Kerrigan has a detector overlord near her, or else she would just be sliced to bits from the shadows (go dark templar!). Assuming she has a detector, the next problem she would face is a foe who has high shields. Zeratul is constantly regenerating his shields, and even though Kerrigan is regenerating health, even if she pierced Zerry's shields she would still have to kill his HP too. Then again, Kerry could snare Zerry, making it harder for him to move. It's hard!

But I want Zeratul to destroy Kerrigan. Then Zeratul backstabs Duran, Xel'Naga, Artanis, Mengsk, Tychas, and finally Raynor, in that order.

 

wow. you just want everybody to die eh? i see traces of sadism...

i don't think zeratul will back stab artanis, however... they're both allies, for one, another thing is that they've fought the same battles before... sure i want him the kill mengsk, duran and tychus (anyway, it's spelt with a u, not an a), but raynor definitely not, he's a cool character, and one of the sane characters in the storyline. also, the xel'naga is an entire race, i don't think it will be easy for him to just kill every one of them, moreover the xel'naga know all of the protoss technology and their habits, don't you think they will find it easy to just deal with them?

 

Statwise Zeratul would indeed kick Kerrigan's ass, but notice in the pics that his Warp Blade wrist-projector-thing is gone. I speculated that maybe Kerrigan managed to destroy it - or maybe he dealt with some of her minions before taking her on, resulting in a broken projector and less endurance to fight Kerrigan.

 

Since Zeratul is not Tassadar, the fight would probably take place on Kerrigan's conditions. I doubt she would fight him unless she was sure to win. Tassadar could outsmart her anyday, but he's not there anymore... [*]
