World of Starcraft a reality?

if they did it would be called world of starcraft to tie it in with wow as a mmorpg

 

eh, those pics are of starcraft ghost with that world of warcraft thing at the bottom.

Seas of Starcraft would sound sweet, though.

but it wouldn't work, you cant have all the units available, or everyone will be a siege tank or a battlecruiser, but to not have those available would be utter phail.

or sector of starctaft "SOS" or SAVE OUR SOul
they should call it kerrigans galaxy and finish

 

or they could you know not make it and work on a game that doesn't ruin a series name just a thought
iv never played WoW and don't intend to. the image of a nolife geek is too much to bear.

 

God, I hope its real lol, but SC2 should totally be released sooner...

 

i dont know if anyone has already said this but i think i saw a video of it on youtube. and i think it could be from starcraft: ghost ... they did make that right because i've seen videos of it, but a few week back i was talking to my friend about starcraft 2 and i brought up starcraft: ghost and he said they planned that but never made it >.< so confused

 

I recognize some of the models from Starcraft: Ghost. Particularly the Protoss "quest giver" holding that gatling-gun like object.

EDIT: I've played WoW since early 2005 (from Europe btw) but quit 5 months ago because, frankly, the game sucks in it's current state (not balance-wise but the story lacks depth and the effort to gain access to the many parts of the game is just too much).
(also, prior to quitting i found my old SC discs gathering dust in a drawer, this could have contributed to me quitting wow...)
SC was the first game i ever played and i still find it awesome, and besides, i don't want Blizzard to be total morons and soil a good franchise by making it into a MMORPG. They are having enough trouble at it is keeping WoW up.

So i'd vote against WoS.

 

Starcraft:Universe it would probally be called and hi everyone first post and i think if they did make one it would be called that heh but it would run on Windows Vista more likely

 

the title would be Space of Starcraft
but honestly, the thing would be to big to create, at least 10 planets (for a start), every planet had to be the size of the basic WOW size, or at least 1 continent. The basic SC had no Boss-like creatures, so think about any raids ?
the only way to make it any good, would be to create an anti-fraction for every race, ppl would gety xp from killing mobs that look the same as playesrs from other races look (or something like it)
it could be made a pvp only game, but that would not be as cool

for me the only good SC based rpg is the "book rpg" system (is it made anyway ? ) I just don't have any ideas for any computer rpg based on SC

 

To me it sounds dumb Starcraft:Universe I like the details in it though but name i dont like =P it could also have some missions in it and yes it should have booses Karrigan,Raynor,Sarim Duran and so on

 

i dont see why somone just dosnt make a counterstrike based RPG where the characters pictures are edited to look like figures from starcraft that would kick ass and id play that alot instead of regular old counter strike
ive played zombie mods but never starcraft mods that would kick ass! CAn somone here do that!?

I think this is so fraking possible. tho it will be more like a strang first person shooter insted of a mmorpg. It would kinda be like hellgate-london. and i dont think blizzard wants that.

 

a starcraft mmo woud just kill it
starcraft is meant to be an rts game
if it was an mmo like wow it would just commercialise the game and ruin it for the fans
and i couldnt really imagine wow and world of starcraft competing with eachother on the market

 

World of Starcraft is just a temporary form of illusion for those who doesnt appreciate how perfect Starcraft is being just as it is... an RTS..

and besides can you even imagine a person playing as an ultralisk?? thats just way imba against insects like marines.... if ever another genre for Starcraft is to be made,, i think i'd rather stick up with SC:Ghost.. but anyway i believe it was a good call for them withholding Ghost, coz were now on the verge of experiencing the 2nd impact of Starcraft and we all just cant wait ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
