UED was annihilated in end of SC:BW is there anything left of them? Sure there are still Terrans but just like the Confederacy is no longer around neither are the UED, or at least so I thought.

Well, looking at what happened, this is what will happen: The protoss will get some person to become their leader, who will lead them to peace and glory. They will demolish the zerg as revenge for their fallen leader Fenix, and when zeratul sees that the protoss are yet again at the top, he will come back and lead them in battle again. When the terran see the glory of the protoss, they will just give in. If the Xel'Naga actually exist, then they will fight for a little with the protoss and unite.

I think Kerrigan plays such a critical role in the plot line that they couldn't kill her off until either the 3rd campaign of SC2 or even SC3 (if there will be a SC3). Or maybe they'll just let her live and then release World of Starcraft and have her be a raid boss (I would be pissed!!)

Random Question: Do you think that the Terran Campaign in SC2 will be subtitled "Chapter 7"? :p Or are we moving on since this is SC2 now...

Agreed like I said, Kerrigan is to Starcraft as Vader is to Star Wars. You can't have either of them without that character. As soon as Kerrigan dies Starcraft will end.

uhmmm.... I believe they will never be compatible Sarah is rather Alexander the great to me.... Darth Vader is a cry baby, and a dog follower who couldnt even act on his will without the emperors concent, He never made it to the top, whereas Sarah at the peak of her life owns a lot of "Space".... lol

The UED Expeditionary Fleet was destroyed, but Earth and its colonies were never attacked, so they can easily send another fleet. However in xZerg Secret Mission, Duran says that he has planted Hybrids throughout the planets, so they're in some trouble.

And who's to say that Starcraft won't go on in book form after it's all said and done, but without Vader there was no movie which was their main media. Without Kerrigan starcraft is a drastically different universe, she's the main character.
I drew the comparison because of their similar storyline. We both meet them as the protagonist, showing a lot of promise and talent, due to unfortunate circumstances they both become the antagonist, not only a good one but the best one. We know how Vaders story ends, we don't know how Kerrigans will...

Nah, she uses Xel'naga technology and becomes a supreme being and her zergs evolve and become un****able pinacle of evolution bent on assimilating all life forms in the universe.
But ofc in the Legacy of the void all races unite and kill her before that happens..
    THE END

Hmm I don't think so, since Zerg are controlled by a Hive Mind they didn't possess any free will, except for a cerebrate. I also think that if she allowed to "create" a cerebrate I think it will revolt and kill Kerrigan. I don't see why Kerrigan need to be kill in Starcraft 2. It's like the developer try to kill Arthas in Warcraft.

and one thing popped off my mine while reading this. What happen if Xel Naga take control of zerg and kill off Kerrigan in the end of Starcraft 2? That would be interesting.

I don't think Duran would be interested. He serves a higher purpose, but it may want him to recontrol the Swarm for something...

If the Xel'Naga didn't get consumed by The Swarm then where were they all this time? and if she would die because some all pwer-ful race comes back, she'd just kill the Xel'Naga off first chance she'd get. to establish yourself as a power, you must eliminate all threats.

Yes, Duran does not care about the Zerg Swarm because he serves a stronger power.
