Considering all the new technology that the protoss got in starcraft 2, they have no choice but to win. All their weapons are awesome, and if played right they should win.

^True they did get a lot of new things but that can be said about any race. If any race is played right it should win.

Nah, the psi emitters are devices that broadcast the neural imprint of a Ghost. Reason, the zerg are attuned to the psychic emanations of ghosts. The Overmind, i presume found that there was untapped potential in certain humans (ghosts) and wished to assimilate these genes and ended up assimilating Kerrigan on Tarsonis.
In that one mission in SC:BW, the emitters were supposed to be used to lure the zerg so that Kerrigan could take direct control over them, i presume because the psi disruptor was too close. She needed an additional pull to get the attention of her faithful warriors.

Well, it is true that if played right, then any race can win. But actually consider the advantages of the protoss over all other races.

I consider all advantages but if the protoss were that overpowered then they won't be for long. That's what beta and balancing is for ;)

Protoss will not go after Raynor's Raiders for any good reason, so I'm assuming the Terran part is for Mengsk.

There was chaos in the first starcraft. This time there will be peace and tranquility provided by the protoss and the surrender of the terrans. I hope.

The xel'naga should not let that happen...
It would be cool if the xel'naga come, zerg attacks them, zerg gets pwnt really badly, everyone else is scared, then goes on to protoss campaign, when xel'naga and toss calm zerg enough so that no one is really the ultimate power...except xel'naga...who is gonna give toss and zerg "their punishment"
    DUN DUN DUN :p

Not sure I understand fully. Where do the Terran come in they are the beginning of the storyline after all. Second why would the toss line up with the Xel'Naga if they are destroying the Zerg? The Toss are a smart enough race to figure if they're going after the Zerg it can only lead to their destruction soon after, the only reason they would go after the Zerg first would be because they are more of a threat since they are just about the dominant race at the moment. Therefor the Protoss's only shot would be to help the Zerg out against their will for survival. Not saying it should happen but in the scenario you put out that would make the most logical sense.

If the mighty swarm falls then how does the beaten and broken Protoss (at the moment) have much of a chance?

they will lock her in and the swarm will go wild and uncontrollable, teamkilling as hell, and be a pretty easy target for the other races in the universe...
Then, starcraft3 comes out and Kerrigan has fled or sumthing...

How are the protoss all beaten up? Also just think who will win the pitiful terrans or the powerful protoss with their shields and mother ships. Protoss will win for sure.

Protoss are beaten because they lost their leader turned out to be controlled by the Zerg. Kerrigan was playing them for puppets yet again. Zeratul is an amazing soldier but he isn't quite the leader, on a battlefield he is, but not as a racial leader. Which is why he went into seclusion, the Protoss lost their matriarch, their strongest soldier is a recluse at the moment, their best fleet was beaten, Fenix perished. Really I don't see how you can look at it any other way. And pitiful is merely an opinion although they were definitely beaten in the end, the entire UED fleet was killed. So was the majority of the Toss fleet though so we'll just have to wait and see.

The Protoss missions are diplomatic, right?

    LAST MISSIONS:
    1. Ally with Zerg and Terran
    2. Destroy something Xel'Naga / Kill Duran
    3. EPIC BATTLE VS XEL'NAGA!
    4. Victory. One of the main characters WILL die in the final battle. My guess? Artanis, Zeratul or Jimmy. Kerrigan dying? Wait 'til SC III!

The UED MUST make an appearance, and they MIGHT finish Kerri off.
