let me add another concept to it though. Wouldn't it also be cool if they found some super powered weapon, basically the equivalent of an Xel'Naga WMD, on Auir. That would be an amazing addition to the story.

Of course the weapon would have limits, they would require time to learn it's mechanics but they would have a way to keep Auir clean, so to speak.....

Broke brood war cd a long time ago. Don't have time to replace and just goin off a memory so excuse me if it's a little off. (not being sarcastic). My bad if i meant to double post. Will not do this again.

Yeah but that was just a temple dedicated to them it was never meant as a weapon.

Right right but the scenamtics from blizzard are always top-notch and that is still a cool scene to watch even today!

As fine as a story Starcraft is, Homeworld still has the best ending to a video game of all time in my book.

 

Wow that was good stuff! i have homeworld but never really got attached to the story.

 

I've heard that ending music all over the internet. Is that actually from Homeworld's soundtrack or is that another famous song? If that's from Homeworld's soundtrack then DAMN! that song gets around!

 

Sorry to say that the song was already famous before Homeworld rolled around (its called Adaggio for Strings). But on the plus side, the Homeworld series already has a fantastic original soundtrack as it is:
