I don't know if Stukov is working with Raynor, I was hoping that he would get Raynor to be his right hand guy and then proceed to combine the UED remnants, Raynor's raiders, and one or two of the other small terran factions(Confederate remnants or Kel-Morians?) into one decent terran faction that would give Megnsk some competition as the dominate terran faction.

I want to see Kerrigan personally be the one to kill Mengsk, it would be sweet revenge. Have her take Arcturus out and then Raynor and Valerian have to fight for control of the terran majority.

Stukov probably will. I think that he was a good leader, and was liked by his men. He had Terran units in the Ressurection and the other StarCraft 64 bonus mission, so it is likely that he still has UED remainants. And in SCII he will probably join with Jimmy, Kerrigan, etc., to fight Duran and the Xel'Naga.

And the obvious reason Kerrigan hasn't attacked:
    LAG

(or Blizzard not having finished its expansion yet)

Those people he were working with Stukov were

    1) Confederates. (Some of them were using the Skullder Unit 001, a Confederate goliath design.)
    2) Thought he was crazy. (Specifically, a goliath pilot said this.)

I don't think it makes sense for Stukov to work with the UED remnants anyway. They've had time to get a new leader, someone untained by the zerg or insanity.

To answer the OP: because Starcraft 2 hasn't come out yet. =)

untainted or inexperienced? Really Stuckov was probably one of the best military minds of any of the characters...Really one doesn't really come to mind that readily compares...Zeratul or Tassadar probably but how much of that is military acumen and how much is just their aura of mysticism?

And yeah I knew those guys with Stuckov in the first one or two of the extra missions with him in them were confederates, which is why I brought up the possibility of him bringing them together to form a second major terran faction. He was working with the confederate scientists in particular, on what I don't think we ever really found out, perhaps he was trying to come up with a cure or a way to balance and isolate his infestation so he would remain somewhat human but we don't know, what it did seem like was that the confederates seemed like they had regained a bit of power under Megnsk's nose....I think this might deserve it own thread...
