I can train you guys if you want. But I don't classify myself good enough to be training anyone LOL.
I still got miles to go till I consider myself to be good enough. But hey, whatever works, we are here to have some fun right?

Anyways, lesson # 1: NEVER I mean EVER build scouts. I have played plenty of forum members and they always build scouts for some unknown reasons. Don't build them. They sucks. They cost way too much for what they can do. The only time that you might need them is if the enemy is massing up captial ships in a BGH game but other than that, NEVER EVER build scouts.

Ych9 is right...dont build scouts...seriously...wth..lol i never used scouts in my whole life...

im a decent player...i havent played in a while though. i just played a week ago and found out that i am pretty rusty and that i cant micro as good as 3 yrs ago...

well, i play in US-West and atm my account name is yellow_toss (had it for 6 yrs). if u wanna vrs me just PM me =D and u can see my skills...just remember im not a full pro..lol im probably as good/worse than Ych9...so yeah..lol

oh and atm im really busy with exams coming up...so maybe verse u guys later in like...3 weeks or so =D


LESSON # 2: go play sc and see for yourself..and ask these question to yourself:
a) am i quick minded?
b) do i misclick alot of times
c) is my accuracy of clicking on units crappy?
d) do i always have 1000 minerals or more in mid-game?
e) are my relfexes quick enough to act when attacking or defending?

those are just few...there are plenty more things to improve on..but atm, ask yourself these questions..and if u have any troubles in these areas...practise!! =D cuz practise makes perfect


EDIT: when i massed carriers and BC people called me a NOOB player. people think massing carriers and BC is a cheap strategy of defeating a player...but imo! carriers and BC can be brought down pretty easily with mass hydras or mass dragoons. in addition...devourers, valkeries, wraiths, scourges and excelent at killing big air-ships

 

One good reason to build Scouts: to shame your inferior oponnent by beating them with crappy units. Even better, kill them using only Queens, only workers, or only nukes. ^_^

As for skilled players, I've only played a few matches with players on the forums (seriously guys, all you have to do is IM me, or even PM me, I'll drop just about anything for StarCraft.) but the best I've played with is Ych9. On my mental tiering scale, he's one higher than me. The only one I've 1v1ed with was the the admin. Even though I won, I'd put him on the same tier as me.

Ace: b) and c) seem to be the same thing... and I'd add to that list: f) do I know what my enemy is doing?

 

are all you global mods but fenix gods at starcraft?

 

Yeah it seems that way darkone not to stero type or anything but so far all our global mods I've seen own... and our admin does to. The reason Darkone said that is becuase Fenix keeps trying to tell us he sucks at starcraft but I dont buy it.... anyone can tell me how good he really is?

And for the record I just love capital ships in general (points at avy and pet) carriers just happen to be the only one the Protoss have in SC1. And I am learning to use other units .
