I'd say this is the wrong forum, but...

Fenix: I fear no enemy, for the Khala is my strength! I fear not "death"! For our strength is eternal! En taro Adun!

    Best. Line. Ever.

Guess, I like Fenix, although I like Zeratul, Tassadar and Stukov as well.

Fenix and Artanis are my favorite heroes from the original Starcraft.

Sarah Kerrigan would have to come in at a close third.

I liked Fenix caused seemed to have the personality of a noble and proud warrior with some wisdom behind him. Artanis because he depicted a more young version of a protoss and plus he had an awesome voice, especially in that scout.

Kerrigan because she was the only female hero and how she turned from a talented Terran Ghost that fought against the Zerg and then was left behind and changed into the Queen of the Zerg. I also found her character to be interesting.

After reading I, Mengsk... I almost like Arcturus.

I am so close to liking him, after how much I hated him.

    Fenix.

He is the epitome and representation of honor upon the battlefield. He dies at the hands of the Zerg, then selflessly allows himself to be reincarnated into the cold shell of a Dragoon, for the honor of defending his homeland. He stays behind with Jim Raynor at the portal from Aiur to defend against the invading Zerg so his brothers may escape to safety, to fight another day. Then, his final moments were spent fighting the ruthless Kerrigan as she rampaged across the worlds. He likely knew his death was imminent, yet he held his ground.

My hat goes off to him.

My favorite has gotta be Stuckov, he had me when he lit that cigar and expressed his love of vodka. Really hope they continue with his story from the bonus missions.

Artuctus Mengsk, clever politician, revolutionary, charismatic, great tactician and has survived everything they have thrown at him.

I love almost all of the Terran heroes, for different reasons.

Everybody loves Raynor because you're supposed to--he's a very well-written protagonist with the perfect backstory: small-time, backwater planet guy, swept up in the sector-wide war that has decimated all of humanity. He's a farmboy, almost like Luke Skywalker... only grittier and more martial because this is StarCraft and it's all about the military. So he's the farmboy version of a space marine... he's not part of the larger military, he's a marshal on a backwater moon. It's too perfect.

I like Mengsk because he's the most fun kind of amoral antagonist/side protagonist to have access to in a story. He's diabolical and merciless enough to give you a good antagonist when the story needs one, but he's resourceful and amoral (rather than immoral) enough to be willing to aid the good guys against bigger bads when the story calls for that. He's like Spike from the Buffy, or Piccolo from Dragonball/Z. Plus, he's truly ambitious--he actually wants to rule the entire universe if he can, and he just might pull it off.

These are probably the most compelling characters for me. I want to like characters like Kerrigan or Zeratul, but I feel they fall into monotone too easily. Kerrigan started out in SC like this great tragic character who falls and turns to the dark side, but then in BroodWar she was just this archetype one-dimensional villain. Badass, brilliant and brutal? Sure, but not very interesting or complicated.

    Jimmy Ranor for sure mate

He skilled enough to be more that 1 unit mate and I reckon he'll be able to use all unit types in the sc2
