    imo, the lurker will be in the game, this is all based on speculation tho, both the terran and the protoss kept their ground broodwar unit, not counting the twilight archon which is half a broodwar unit, anyway back on topic, the protoss kept their dark templer with nothing change about it except for graphics. and the terrans kept their medics with little change in its role as a healer. also all the anti air was kick out because in starcraft 1 none of the races had anything to counter mass air. im hoping in starcraft 2 they will have an anti air unit with some ability to help elseware like the corsair. but in the end all this is just speculation and hopes.

    Dude the lurker was the most usefull unit the zerg had. 2 well placed lurkers could change the game.

    The lurker should have a range that is larger than the turret towers

    then the would be too good as it wouldn't get hurt as it advanced to take out buildings.
    its range has to be at least equal to any tower and should be less so it can't destroy all base defences

    yeah if lurker had a longer range than towers,bunkers and such it would be way overpowered because it is already invis.

    Basically the lurker is a very balanced unit that should not be changed. Except for graphically

    It should not be able to move underground because this would make them way overpowered because you could "lurk" near there base without even popping up and still could attack things on your way over there.

    True. Lurkers moving underground is out of the question. I'd say leave as it is. No reason to fix what wasn't broken.

    Same with the Hydralisk animation ;] lol

    But yes I also agree, giving the Lurker the ability to move underground would be like a moving Siege Tank.
    Cuz the fact it can attack from underground anyway is very special at that.

    i agree
    even though earlier i said i wanted tunneling for lurkers
    i now see how stupid that was and how overpowering it would be

    Also hydralisks need a melee animation

    wick...you power him down cuz tahts a useless post? what happened if he added something extra? like "yes, the lurker is a very balanced lurker and should not be changed" would u have still powered him down?

    i think thats pretty slack.

    lordkerwyn did an post about powerdowns...please read them... i dont see one saying "power someone down if they go off-topic"

    I powered him down because that wasn't the only useless post he made, and I'm intending to raise it back up and more once he gets better, which he is right now.

    That would make them the siege tank, only used by the zerg.

    ya if the lurker range was too long it might as well be a cloaked siege tank

    xD I get powered down for the dumbest things its amazing. Furrer also powered me down >;|

    I wonder how the Lurker will change visually and what it's attack would look like now in 3D, pretty damn crazy to see 3D spikes ripping out from the earth

    Did you see what he writed? He said: I like to post some random stuff. In a dead topic. it seems like he deleted the post and the powerdown junmped to the next post. And you have PU people with the message Merry Christmas in the response of getting one yourself, this is AGAINST the rules.

    I know the lurker will be in SC2 can't wait to see what it looks like.

    as biglittlezergling says the lurker will probably be back if not the exact unit then and an evolved version that does the same.
