What would be the worst SC2 news you could hear?

Monthly fee would piss me off 8/
Or the SC map editor has memory leaks like the crappy warcraft 3 one did 8/

Someone hacks into the main blizzard server and deletes all starcraft2 data, or their servers burn out.

 

Didn't that happen to Valve when they were making HL2?

That starcraft 2 DOES come out, but it turns out that the game is very unbalanced and does not really play very well... then Blizzard gives us all one month game passes for World of Warcraft and expect us all to be happy, when it turns out they really were not paying attention to the starcraft universe, however they were making the World Of Warcraft expansion all along... i would cry then.

 

I can live with all of those exept paying for battle.net

 

actually u r right... paying for bnet would REALLY suck... but i wouldnt even try to pay for bnet if the game was way off balance, i would just go back to SC (first one)

 

Within the first few missions the protoss, zerg, and terran are all wiped out, and the game turns into a war between the hybrids and xel-naga. (it sounds kind of cool but I mean I would miss all the awesome characters I've grown to love)

OR all of the units are scraped and replaced to look like the nomad. (I'd heard everyone say it was a ugly thing, but I'd never seen it until just a second ago)

Thanks gasmask, and for all of those who hadn't seen it until gasmask put it up, you now know why it would be awful if every unit in the game looked like this..... it's a crane bent into a square.

 

The Nomad just isn't Starcraft material. Blizzard always do amazing unit designs, seeing this hurts your eyes. It barely feels Terran.

 

Yeah it kind of feels like some type of sci-fi feel. Now starcraft is obviously sci-fi but this is more like... star trek or something. I agree with gasmask compare this thing to a battlecruiser or a arbiter, something like that and it really just doesn't fit.

Anyway this is obviously starting to get off track, and I apolgize since it kind of my fault. So lets get back on topic people, your worst starcraft 2 news?

 

HOLY SHIT. That EMP looks awesome

 

The unit doesn't look like what you think terran units should look like. It looks cool, but it just doesn't have that terran feel. I wouldn't mind if they decided to change its look.

 

As long as they keep the look of that EMP when passed to the next unit

 

EMP looks awesome so far. In the first game, it just looked like a shockwave that was almost impossible to see.
