What RTS would you recommend?

Age of Empires, man. If you like Starcraft and you can handled 2D graphics, even Age of Empires 2 is great.
3, along with all its expansion sets, is also incredible.

Some of the best graphics if seen yet in video games. Whats better than seeing people rag-dollized through the air and rolling across the ground into the water after getting hit by a cannon blast?

 

That's nothing on Company of Heroes. If you have a good computer and you crank all the settings to high, it's almost as good as an FPS.

 

Try looking to some of the truly classic games such as Command and Conquer: Red Alert and Z.

I thought it was pretty awesome for a while but I got bored of it after a month. Playing Crysis now.

uh other than SC2 the next game I'm buying is Halo Wars. But if you wonna try something differant Tiberium wars is pretty good. Also if you have a 360 i recommend playing it on that because its differant and the gameplay is a lot smoother.

 

World in Conflict is by far one of the better games I've played in a LONG time. It took me out of my game slump that I've been having for a while ^_^

Advance Warsark Conflict, DS. OK, It's not a RTS, it's a TBS (turn based strategy) but it's nonetheless demigodlike IMO. This is a must have for the TBS lovers.

 

Black & White - throwing enemies in the air by yourself!

 

I'm thinking of getting Sins of a Solar empire. I checked out the previews, and the 4X RTS hybrid seems to have worked.
