What is your favorite new Terran Unit/Building?

I can imagine some epic Viking battles:

-Player A's Vikings encounter Player B's Vikings on the ground-

Player A: Ha! I'll hit him from the air! *Transform to Air Mode*

Player B: Ha! I'll hit him from the ground! *Transforms to Ground Mode*

Player A: Crap, he's gone to the ground! *Transforms to Ground*

Player B: Grr, back to air boys! *transforms to Air*

Player: Dang it, quick, back to the ground! *Transforms*

And so on and so forth, resulting in the most epic Transforming battle ever. ...Until some Player C comes and pwns both of the Viking groups. XD

 

Player C: GO LINGS >:O
Both: OH SHAT LING RUSHHHHH!!

 

That would be me. :mask: id come in with the max amount of dark templar and wipe you out (or your base whichever i choose)

 

or they'd transform to air and you couldn't hit them That would make some epic battles with vikings transforming.

 

I would surround you and hit you all at once taking your units out all at once and while you where destroying yourself with whats left id hit your base. :mask:

 

Yes, but the most important thing is which side wins the transforming war. Eventually one of the Vikings would break down from stress and overuse thus leaving one side the winner. ...Or the Viking pilots could just be 'F*** this!' and just fly off the map, leaving you defenseless. XD

I don't think it is gonna be lot transforming going on like that. I'm sure Blizzard will put a decent amount of cool down time on the ability or balance the unit so battles don't end up like that. In my opinion I think it would be kinda stupid just to have a Viking transformation duel that keeps going on.

 

Are you kidding? it would be awesome, especially with like BoxeR, control groups of vikings transforming around trying to get off a few hits before transforming so they don't die.

 

The thor is going to be a interesting unit also its like a giant Goliath.

 

in some videos, the thor gets taken down in literally 5seconds by a small group of immortals. the thor should have an upgrade that makes him like a moving bunker, where marines can sit inside and shoot. sorta imbalanced, but it could cool, i dunno.

 

I like the viking a lot (switching between land and air is cool) but there's also something about the Marauder I find appealing. If it had gattling guns instead of rockets/grenades it would easily beat the viking as my #1 unit

 

Viking because it is like a transformer robots in disguise

 

@Capthavic. Although gatling guns would look good on the Marauder, it would'nt look good on Terran as a whole, since Vikings already have gatling guns. Also, the grenades the Marauder launch are Concussion Grenades that slow down the target on impact. A gatling gun that slows would be really weird, especially since the Viking would have an even bigger pair of gatling guns that don't slow.

 

Yeah I know, just saying that it would be frikkin sweet if it did. And I dunno but I think the impact of all those rounds slamming into something would slow it down if not push it back.

Anyway I understand why, but that's just how I feel.

 

Thor would be the best I think. It has the power, the health and if put a good mind to it can take anything out. Its pretty simple actually. Take for example an average protoss base with like 5 proton cannons. Then to it comes 2 Thor's, and with them several marines in a drop ship and maybe a science vessel if the protoss used the mother ship cloak field. That's an unstoppable attack. May bee you can also include a battle cruiser and a siege tank. What can you do to stop it short of a bunch of Dark Templar's. But then an average protoss base wouldn't have the time to build those by the time that you get through. It will take only like 2 or 3 minutes to destroy the base.

 

Can any1 tell me if the Nomad got cut?? or modified...

 

The nomad was changed into the nighthawk.
