    What if Tassadar never existed?

The Overmind would've won long long ago, and BW would never have existed.

Kerrigan would still be under the Overmind's control, and she'll never break free.

The Protoss will have never reunited with the DTs, so those who follow Khala would be extinct, but Terrans will also be pushed to the edge as well. The Overmind, controlling billions of biologically advanced zerg, and a Psi 10 Infested Terran agent under his/her's control would've ruled the galaxy

Then comes Xel'Naga, if Zergs have added Protoss and Terrans to their genes, then the Overmind would've completed his goal. To merge the purity of essense and purity of form, creating the perfect being (for those who are lost, read the background of Xel'Naga). Xel'Naga probably won't interfere with the Zergs, as their original mission was to have both purity of essense and form, so they'll be observing the Zergs. Then comes SC2, where you're playing as Zergs, and nothing else.

I rather doubt the Overmind would have attacked the terrans had it won; it had what it wanted from them already.

Overmind would destroy the Terrans either way. Although the overmind see them as lesser, it has no reasons to allow Terrans to hang around in the galaxy. The Overmind will destroy or enslave anything in it's path, but since slavery is unlikely, Overmind will most likely add the extinct species to their gene pool. You can imagine millions of infested terrans on a planet .

how would you know? we are talking about a human being and what he would do when he is looking for a place to hide from the person that is raving for power, and as anyone knows humans beings are one of the most unpredictable beings alive.

That's why I said he could have gone to Umoja or other places rather than "I know exactly where he would have gone".

Char, however, is a hell hole. It has no native lifeforms for good reason.*

"Char has thick layers of ash which can wreak havoc with sensitive equipment[4] and can also cover hazards such as magma pools.[5] Clouds of ash form which are thick enough to block the view of the stars, making navigation difficult. In addition, fluctuating magnetic fields render magnetic compasses unreliable.[6]

The magma, driven by powerful tectonic activity, often seeps to the surface.[5] The harsh tectonic conditions can cause horrifying firestorms[4] which unrelentingly burn across the plains;[7] the tectonic activity can result in "pyroclastic flows" traveling down mountains at speeds of over 100 miles per hour and with temperatures in excess of 800 centigrade (1470 °F).[8] Temperatures are sometimes so intense that entire sections of its surface become liquefied.[9] "

I don't know about you, but I don't think that's a good place to hide. Maybe Mengsk couldn't find and kill him there, but the planet itself would be doing a good job of that.

According to Queen of Blades, Raynor only went searching for Char because of Kerrigan anyway. (He had Horner do an algorithm search, which is how he knew which planets were good candidates for Kerrigan.) I really don't see him going there without a Kerrigan-shaped lure.

*According to www.starcraft2.com -- and hey, it's Blizzard -- there are no native lifeforms. The history of the Ragnasaurs must be kind of ... odd.

i never said that i know where he would have gone to.

this is probably where we differ, personally i think it would be a great place to hide from Mengsk. tho i probably projected a tiny bit of myself into him, sadly tho we wont know what would have happen unless we asked Blizzard and they actually had an answer.

he has a lure, just in a different shape, instead of being pulled because of wanting to protect Kerrigan(or his thoughts that Kerrigan is still alive and needs him), he now is pushing Kerrigan and himself into hiding to save her.

well it is 4 years later, the Zerg probably 1. Absorbed the Ragnasaurs into their gene pool, but do to no real evidence that seems to point that way(lol it could be the roach =P) its most likely 2. the Zerg killed all of the Ragnasaurs within those 4 years.

What if Kerrigan was killed instead of infested?
Raynor wouldn't hate Mengsk (maybe) becuse she died before evac could be called for then the Protoss would still be trying to destroy the Zerg the cerebrate to take care of Kerrigan (you) wouldn't be created either and....

Raynor would still hate Mengsk (since he sent Kerrigan there without backup) but perhaps not as much. Still, Mengsk did commit a Moral Event Horizon by luring the zerg to Tarsonis.
