What don't you like so far about starcraft 2?

Thats because I'm a texture artist. I see things differently knowing exactly what goes in to making them.

 

I voted for the Soul Hunter... it looks like that stupid Silver Surfer from Fantastic Four with some plasma beam... I consider it weak and not in the Universe Ide expect from the Protoss. It fits neigther into the Khala or the Dark Templar... But i also dont enjoy the Temptests disc units or the infirior looking Pheonix. So far weve only really seen protoss and im interested in what crazy new Terran and Zerg concepts they will bring out in the coming weeks as well. The Seige tank does look like it has some lipstick love goin on its monkey lip as well. . . . .

 

You hate the Pheoinx? I think that's the only unit I've heard that people DON'T hate  (along with the stalker) It sure as hell better than the Scout

 

I also dislike the fact that the Goliath is so far unrevealed. They better have the Goliath in SC2 cause it's my favorite unit in terms of how it looks.

 

it needs more weapons
love the look of their guns. the portrait artwork is even better imo

 

You may have hit the nail on the head there... I was trying to figure out what I didn't like about the terran's graphics. You're right, they look new. I always thought of them a gritty and war torn.

 

marines with shields! abomination! blasphemy! aaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! toy shields!

I voted for the new Siege Tanks look.

Soul Hunter is right next to the Siege tanks look in my book though.
Other than those 2, I'm loving everything else about SC2.

 

Nice avatar Ych9, I wish they would use those instead of the Soul Hunters.

 

It's my favorite terran unit to play with. ^_^ I really hope its going to be in SC2 too.

 

Hey can the immortals attack air units??

 

They should be able to seeing as their guns point upwards in the animation on starcraft2.com

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Immortals attacks are powerful against "large" type units. Meaning they will be strong against large air units...BCs, Tempests, Motherships etc.

 

'reapers replace firebat' we don't know that...

I voted for the phoenix replacing the scouts and corsairs. I always made good use of both of them and I hate the idea for that phoenix.

 

so the stalkers are gona be more obsolete? and one more thing i dont get about hardened shields..
immortals: hmm about 10 zerglings are coming our way lets be prepared!
immortal 2: great idea but one sugestion lets NOT activate our shields
immortal 3: ok but why??
immortals 2:if u suddenly see siege tanks we should conserve for heavy hits
immortal: mean while we get obliberated but zerglings??
immortal 2: thats the idea!

 

but the scout was so much money compared to it's worth. havent you seen my cost benefit analysis of it compared to the carrier?

 

haha but the thing is that the immortals have two types of shield and one of them happens to be a specialized shield against siege attacks.

Soul Hunter should simply remodel it to the Vindicator and rename it to that too.

For those who don't know what the Protoss Vindicator is, it's a SC:Ghost unit that carries a gun just like what the Soul Hunter is carrying.

 

Another thing I just remembered that I don't like about starcraft 2 is that the reapers always have their jump jet engines around. They always hover around on them rather than walking. They have legs don't they? Well then they should walk.
