What are you expecting from Starcraft 2?

I have tried wow thats how I know it sucks. Even if it is the best mmorpg it still sucks; thats like being a giant among midgets.

 

I don't like The Mothership very much at all.
Though the ability to stop incomming fire and missiles looks really cool.

 

I hope that this game will be like SC, but with changes especially in the resources strategy. I hope too that this game will be revolutionary, a new strategy genre, but as it must be like SC, there will be nothing revolutionary. Surely in the visual effects of course, that's already great for me. :good:

However I see that the new units seem to be more balance, like the immortal powerful against the tanks, but weak against simple marines. Bravo Blizzard ! owerup:

 

I think it will be a good game, but worse than the original. Starcraft was a very good game, as I'm sure everyone here knows of, and almost every company when they make a game that good, the sequel is often times worse than the original. Yah yah, Spiderman 2 was better than the first, but thats an exception.

Another reason is Starcraft is a very hard act to follow.

 

I have much faith in SC2. It is made by Blizzard that is enough. Also the lead Dev has plenty of experiance. Some people are wary because he worked on C&C and are afraid he will make it into SC:C&C but I am not worried since the ENTIRE dev team makes the decision. He worked on one of the second best games of all times so he has my vote.
