What are you expecting from Starcraft 2?

It has a long way to go to be the best game of the 2000's (seriously, we need to come up with an official name for this decade ), but I have high hopes. We shall see...

isnt this board for people that love sc2?

 

The option says "the worst game made by blizzard" not "the worst game ever made" so those that picked teh last one may have felt that it may be blizzard's worst but not the gaming worlds worst (in a sense since blizzard has always had good games and saying that a game is the worst made by blizzard is more of a compliment)

Of course its an exaggeration but to be honest, if not for how old the game was therefore causing compatibility problems with my network, i'd still be playing it. my #1 favourite game to this day still.

 

The campaign will be great, the online skirmishes will be tons of fun, but the custom maps are going to rule all. The hundereds of mini and not so mini games that people will create is going to be the best part. The custom maps are the only reason I even still play WC3 and they were my favorite part of SC1.

Note, when I voted best game even I take it to be with the understanding that it means the best game that has been made yet. I have no doubt that there will be a better game in the future, SC3 anyone?

 

I wish Blizz could make a mini-game server for WoW.... that would be awesome

 

I think it will be ONE OF the best games of this decade, perhaps even the best. But the best game ever? There is no such thing, at least not objectively.

Also, the 3rd and 4th options should have been swapped, because it seems as if the fourth is more positive than the third.

 

I think SC1 will be better because the bad graphics made it swift and not laggy. The mouse didn't lag either.
SC2's graphics seem similar to WC3, and WC3's mouse speed was kind of laggy due to the good graphics and shadings.

Also, SC2's graphics make it seem so similar to WC3.. it makes me wonder whether micro/macro will be necessary in SC2.

I think its slightly better than option three. It looks like it will be a very well-done game, but as for saying that its the best game of the 2000s...I don't really think so.

 

I think SC2 will be a good game, but I doubt it will be the best there is. It me be one of the best for a while (possibly a long while) but there will be better games. I voted best of the 2000's, but I think it will only last from 2007 (or whenever it comes out) to 2010 at the latest. By then many other new games will have come out and at least one will have to be better then lemon flavoured canned sex.

SC 2 will be the best RTS ever, but I don't know about the best game ever. (That's still what I voted for lol) You can't really compare an RTS to an FPS or an RPG, as they're totally different things.

 

I think it might start turning water into wine. That's how good this game is gonna be.

SC1 was and still is one of the best RTS games ever but SC2 will not be as good C&C system and Supreme commander are RTS games but they work difrent then SC so it is too hard to say with one is the best and .. SC2 is not ready yet so you get the point

 

Its going to be the best game of the first decade of the new millenium. Pokemon red and blue and goldeneye have already taken the title of best games of the last millenium. It will really only be the best game of its kind though, but if your favorite type of game is RTS than it will be the best. Reguardless its going to be the best rts by far, just as starcraft was the best of the 90s.

Who voted for blizzards worst game, nothing can be as dumb as world of warcraft, I wish WoW didnt take up so much of Blizzard's time, maybye we wouldve had SC 2, SC ghost, and WC 4 by now if time wasnt wasted on that piece O'shit WoW.
