    What you'll need:

    An SCV
    2-4 Vultures w/ mines
    resources for marine/medics
    a dropship
    2 tanks w/ siege mode
    Comsat if fighting zerg

If your enemy has a bunch of people guarding his workers, this method can lure them out. First, build a barracks near the enemy base. An existing can be moved instead, but that may take to much time. Begin building marines/medics. While they are building, use the vultures to lay mines around the barracks. After this is done, begin using the marines/medics to probe the enemies defenses. The enemy will probably ignore the marines at first, however, if the marines attack, run, heal, and attack enough, the enemy will probably send their army to kill all the marines. Lead the marines back to the barracks (be sure to keep building marines!). The enemy will suddenly understand where the marines are coming from and attack the barracks...leading to the mines slaughtering the initial attackers. When this happens, use the vultures and marines to attack the stragglers. At the same time, order a dropship to drop two tanks on the opposite side of where the barracks is (backdoor). Proceede with normal tank drop, with an added attack on the enemy base if you got lucky enough.

    Who it works best against:
Terran: The enemy is likly to undeploy tanks to try and kill the marines, and with luck will send marines hiding in bunkers after your rag tag group.

    Ok against:
Protoss: Most protoss players use stationary defenses to guard their workers. If they are using dragoons instead, however, this tactic works great.

    Worst against:
Zerg: Lurkers are huge hassle to deal with, especially since they chew through marines. You may be better off using a similar strategy, only with a few goliaths instead of marines, with SCVs to repair them.

    Why it works:

I use this strategy (or one like it) a lot against experienced players, since they generally know how to defend against most drops, but are still quick to react on their anger. The trick here is the "We are under attack" message. People tend to ignore it at first, but their patience wears thin after the third to fifth time. Instead of sending an appropriately small group, they tend to throw everything and the kitchen sink at the enemy raiders, leaving them open.

This strategy isn't good against newbs, who don't bother with something as trivial as worker protection, and it's weak against skilled players, who will probably see right through the trick. The trick has a pretty good track record though, so try it out sometime.

Oooo you one sly devil, marinecorp, your evil knows no bounds.

My is prolly a guardian harrass then when they sent their fighters out BAM my hidden scourges assault, devastating them and then its followed by an immediate base attack. Works wonders vs protoss.

3-4 arbiters and then you fly to the center of there base and start warping in your army also you can stasis feild alot of his units with at least 1 arbiter this, you will prolly loose at least 1 or 2 arbiters but they can warp in so many that it really doesnt matter and then you can attack with the rest of your forces causeing even more confusion. and of course you will lose yoru cloaked units first <: but thats ok it allows your army to be cloaked for awhile not alwys but usually .

Very hard to pull off, but due to Nydus Canal's somewhat short build time it's sometimes possible to scout somewhere in enemy zerg territory, build the exit on their creep, and then BAM send your awaiting troops through.

It works, I've done it once or twice. Its extremely hard to be successful since an enemy would most likely see it before it is completed. It's also excellent for setting up connections with allied zerg bases on b-net.

In one game, I nearly scared the pants off my ally when half my army of hydras, about 50, pored out of a nydus tunnel I built at the front of his base. I built it as a protective device since he was behind the rest of us since he kept being attacked. He got scared so bad from seeing an army larger than his suddenly appearing right at the edge of his base. It was funny, but saved him when all 4 enemies attacked him at once as a last attempt to kill him before my allies and I destroyed their bases one by one.

One good tactic is sneaking lurkers into an enemy base/outpost through use of the dark swarm.

One of the least used tactics (though not sneaky) is to use a few medics to blind a reaver drop.

The demand for firebats is so high, yet the only time I've seen them used is as a zealot rush defense...

I've never used firebats, so I wasn't estatic like others where when they got added. I've always found marines much more effective and don't use up my gas resources.

FIrebats were too specialized to be of much use. They were only meant to be effective against small units in the early game because of their concussive damage. Now that concussive damage is gone and they have more hp/armor/damage, they'll be much more useful.

Yes. My sneaky tactic is luring stupid computers into a trap then BOOM!!! Siege Tanked!
If I'm not playing with a stupid computer, yes I do have one or two...but if I tell you they will be less sneaky. 8)

Nukeing is always fun. o once brought 6 ghosts up against 12 BC's. Cloaked them all, locked down 2 BC's each, Then nuked them all, with the other 11 firing to make sure they all died in the blast. :D Awesome trick.

Best tactic ever: Reaver and high Templar+psi storm drops.
