Weird Glowing Flicker

After having a 2nd look at your old dxdiag, I'm discovering the issue many people seem to be having with the lower frame rates: no PCIexpress driver installed (meaning chipset software):

Go to your motherboards website: Gigabyte EP43-UD3L.
Go to the Drivers/Windows 7 64-bit downloads page and install the following...
scratch that, install EVERYTHING, you need all of it.

After you get that stuff installed, you should notice quiet a difference in performance.

 

I will update and install the chipset, lan and audio drivers, excluding the lan diagnotic tool and sata raid but I dont have sata raid, do i need to install that too? Also I did a flash bios witht he gigabyte bios updater, do i need to download the stuff under bios downloads, they are listed odd under f1 f2 f3 etc

I normally install the RAID anyway.. you might as well since the SATA driver is in the same bundle, and you won't get full speed access out of your hard drives unless you install it. If you used the Gigabyte updater for the BIOS, then don't worry about flashing it off the site.

 

ok great, ill install tonight and let u know how it goes or if there is ne impovement with textures and performance
