A good player won't let you surround his hero when he's stunned from a stormbolt. On the other hand, he can't do much to prevent coil/nova nuking ;D

i usually use the Night elfs.

    BUT

i then created a map giving balanced stats to the Nagas, and making them as a race, with upgrades and everithing, it was one hell of a job, but it was worth it; if i could always choose them (in normal games) i would play with them always, they are great.

i only play with humans because i like unlocking all their cool little icons. every other race has dumb units as icons.

the coolest icons are 1500 but I have I life and don't spend near enough time to get that many wins or even total games played.

I've always been partial to the undead. I don't know, maybe it's due to my like of any and all malevolent factions in rts and rts-like games, but the undead units (namely the Frost Wyrm) always seem to be far more effective for me than those of any other race. Oh, and they look bitchin'. XD

So then you must like the zerg in starcraft even though your avatar is protoss and your race is protoss...
Since protoss are generally benevolent, zerg are always malevolent, and terrans are either

Well, to be fair, the first impressions of the Protoss in SC are that they're malevolent. In fact, I started playing as the Protoss in multiplayer before even finishing the Terran campaign, so to me, at that time, they were malevolent.

In fact, I believe Starcraft is the one example where I did not, in fact, choose a malevolent faction.

but protoss safeguard many worlds so that nobody will harm them while they develop. this is not a sign of malevolence. also, they destroyed the worlds so that they would not fall to the zerg. the zerg had already overrun those planets.

Protoss are pretty cool, plus, Terran started attacking them first, and they totally saved Raynor, how cool is that? They're pretty gentle actually.

I didn't say they were malevolent. I said the *first impression* of them is that they're malevolent (think the first half of the Terran campaign). About halfway through completing the Terran campaign, I decided to pick up online play, and fiddled around until I got the hang of the Protoss. Granted, it wasn't because I thought they were malevolent, I just preferred their balance structure over that of the Terrans (and at that time, I really sucked with the Zerg).

I've changed from using undead to human/orc variance now.
