No, the Nerubians are NOT spiders. Spiders are just a critter race with no real intelligence. The Nerubians were and ancient race with huge underground cities. They were almost entirely assimilated into the Scourge by the Lich King and then became what you now know as Crypt Fiends and the Crypt Lord hero. But they are still very much alive. You meet quite a few on your way to Icecrown in Frozen Throne. It was a shortcut thing under the mountain. That's also where you encounter the Faceless Ones with their Forgotten One leader, who just might be the most annoying enemy ever made.

And yeah, those Naga Morimodons actually wield spears. It's been a while since I played that game. Writing this all of the top of my head. :/

 

But they are those Spider LIKE things that can use necro powers right?

 

Yes. But I think they only have 4 legs and two arms, which makes them, erm, not spiders. ^^
