It depends on which craft world you talking about. They're all a bit different.

Its a fun universe to play around with. Its a lot larger from ones I am more familiar with but that just gives it more room for it to function in as a story.

My favorite race in Warhammer 40,000 would have to be the Necrons. Necrons are just awesome, on the table top game they used to be my favorite army as I have over 9000+ points of them fully painted and about another 6000 points waiting a paint job. Currently my new fav is the new Space Marines as I can use my old Legion of The Damned army and have fun with using the Vulcan Hestan starts as an HQ. I am going to do a project with the Vulcan Hestan model coming out soon and converting him into Legion of the Damned. Ah good times, good times. Also DoW2 kicks ass and Eldar aren't *****es they just like their tricks!

Eldar are pretty badass in their own way and especially the warp spiders because of this

"This enables them to make totally unexpected attacks on their foes, though it does necessitate spending a short time in the Warp. For this reason the Warp Spiders are considered the bravest of all Eldar Aspects — they risk not only their lives in the name of victory, but also their souls."

I wonder why you underlined eldar? Its almost as if you think Space Marines would be that courageous just to go about 100 or so yards in an instant and sacrifice their souls? The only thing more courageous than any thing is probably contested in between the Grey Knights and an Avatar.

Since i'm one of the many people who have no job and can't play SC2, i came to W40K Dawn of War, cause it looks very similar in some respects.
I love how much the races work similarily, yet aren't similar, and even have 4 races and stay balanced.
My favourite races are the Eldar and The Forces of Chaos. The Eldar cause they have a sort of peaceful feeling to them, and when you think about it, they're a necromantic race, cause everything almost is made of "wraithbone", also they have a fearful peace about them when fighting them, also the voices of their units are really cool.
the Forces of Chaos because they're very similar to the imperium, but they have a very evil, sketchy, horrible power. I also like the Bloodthirster, and have ever since i fought one using nothing but infantry and predators.

Though i have a problem, is ther any version of the mod tools that work for dawn of war 1 and not any expansions? also why does the mission editor look for the gold edition w40k data? i don't have it, yet it still does...
