warcraft...fun?

I think WOW is really overrated, I rather go with a guild wars. And also they really fucked up the continuty of the warcraft universe!

 

I SO hope they disregard events of WoW if they're going to make warcraft 4

As for rating, while I agree it is overrated I'd still play it because I'm fan of warcraft unviresre. Guess Blizzard/Warcraft fanboism has something to do with it's popularity, as well as it's simplicity. DAoC should have never went this way :/

 

Yes it's nice as game i still play it. different from SC as play style but still fun.

 

One thing made me fan of the blizzard universes are the stories, if they screw those up for the sake of gameplay (dranei ok, it's better worked out now, but come on, forsaken together with the horde? No!) I'm gone.

 

Well, you know as the name it self suggest, the Forsakens are not bound to the will of the Legion or Lich King. They are the humans that had the will to break the chains of the "mind controll" of the Legion of them. Forsaken fight against the undeads maybe for revenge, is not well known but still Sylvanas made a pact with the horde to "help" in their way on the fight against the Burning Legion.
So mainly nothing wrong about the forsaken in the horde. They have same goal.

 

warcraft is neither<,> or= to starcraft you cant compare them accept by your own taste

I think he means that you can like stacraft or warcraft more than the other, but neither game is actually better. Oh wait, I complicated it more >.<

 

O haha. No, hes wrong! Starcraft is just better, its the kind of discussion where 'taste' becomes an obsolete variable.

 

Not really, warcraft is much more micro based, and the fact that the game revolves around a couple units (Heros) changes the complexion of the game so much so that starcraft and warcraft arent really that comparable.

 

the answer obviously depend on whether you enjoy that type of game play or not
