I meant "as useless as" training at rock-paper-scissors. You can be the best in the country or in the world but what do you achieve with that? Same goes for this warring thing... what's the point? At least by playing Starcraft (note how I still don't say train...) you enjoy yourself and everything. Although there is the possiblity that you lot enjoy putting bots into an empty channel and claiming it "yours", that's as pathetic as turf division and all that childplay.

And not much effort went into that post, thanks for asking. If you knew this forum you'd know I try to post properly, without omitting letters and making other blatant mistakes. Yes, that's a hint.

And finally, just because I word these things do not think for a second that I'm the only one frowning upon you lot. It's just that I enjoy flicking slights at such quick-tempered people :)

quick tempered? since when? if I were to do the same reply on the public aspect of these forums.. then maybe. I post here because its directly related to clan EMP and Bnet where we reside. A person in [E] asked a question and I answered it. You then came here and targeted me and this clan in a negative way. Im not sure what made you ever think that defending what one writes as "short tempered" but at the same time its whatever, who cares.

Anyways. I understand how you could have ment "as useless as" but that is also your opinion and your entitled to it. Its your pure ignorance or shallow nature of the fact your judging something you know nothing of which is now the point. Thinking your original point was it took little skill, seems i was wrong. And the point is, because it is enjoyable. Like I said, this was a large community of Bnet and just because you bought the game after the fact or play it purely for starcraft without endulging yourself in the awsome Public chat aspect of bnet is your own choice, and thus will remain ignorant. The point was for us who dont like to bury ourselves in hours of starcraft, to boost APM and gain Bragging rights by winning a challenge. It was for those who enjoy chatting and knowing others a way to compete using programs for the sake of bragging rights in a clean aspect. You its "as pathetic as turf division" when in a small aspect yes, it can be seen as this, but considering its over, trying to explain to you is the real childplay.
The point of this was to destinquish between what warring was and how its mistaken today. And there is a reason its mistaken, because it was enjoyable and in the same aspect of loading bots, to people who flood/mass load still is enjoyable, but not to be misinterpreted. And i explained WHAT it WAS because i was asked.
And keep trying to post properly, I type as I think and dont care how you read it.. its a message, so long you get that message, who cares. take less time thinking how it should look and more time into what it is and its purpose(zero)

Bah, you just asume countless things while posting crap.
I know you must feel really smart by posting all this **** up, but talking just for talking, without knowing, doesnt make you smart friend, Im sorry..

Im not that sure what are you referring to when you say a line of code, but i do know what a bot is.. I know a lot about programming and I've known bots for a long long time now..

Im so intrigued... who gave you all this false information? :S
I've played starcraft since 1997.. when I was like 10. No, I wasnt getting a lot on Bnet, I was a kid with no skills, and I always got beaten. Anyhow, I did played constantly for these past years, and last year i started playing more to the game, since I came to see things I wasnt seeing before. I completly understand your stupid Turfwar, but dont expect me to think that was cool just because I do.

What? Now Im getting accused of maphacking by some dude that doesnt even play starcraft anymore?... hahaha
I did knew about the bnet bans, since I ussually log into bnet and stuff seing if there's new info about sc2, but I didnt got banned.. I guess I wasnt using any third party software
What's more, in your post Evan[E], I did mentioned something about third party, so there you have proof i do know what Im talking about. It's so funny how you can even say "...as you kids and your map hacks" being you the one using the third party software. I dont care if it was a black list, or what, you'r the one who got banned, not you.
Btw, weeman's right (for once) on saying evan's lame.

I never called flood/massload warring, nerd. If you were answering the question to me, like you already said in different paragraphs, and saying "you kids", it's just natural for me to assume, you'r calling me a kid. Im guessing after all the "elegant" blabering you were trying to pull off, you would understand what Im saying.. but thinking again, you cant even read a metaphore the right way without having to look at it a couple of times already.

Your whole explanation started with negative connotations..

See? If you dont, you really need to get out and socialize... I mean, dont think for a second bnet and these forums replaces real contact with people. If you do think that, you should... get schooled. Let me know :)

Please next time read each post in the order it is posted by everybody to truely catch up to what is going on in a forum. I have no iLL feelings for you and never thought of you in any ill will you might have taken as you misinterpretted my responses to be targeting you.

Tink, you're right in saying I don't know anything about this 'warring' as well as saying this is just my opinion, so I'll leave it that. I'll just add one more thing to this - I don't need to know the details to be able to judge something. I'm sure skipping ropes needs skill, stamina, correct rhythm of breathing, etc., all of which I don't know about, but these things don't make it any less of a childplay.

Although warring is generally understood to be something done outside of the games, it's still the most fun to play the game itself. Warring easily gets boring after a month or so, but the game itself takes at least 3 months before it gets boring. There's a reason blizzard made starcraft, and it's something we can have fun in.

Believe it or not, there are actually more gamers than warrers on USEast, even though both are dying out/dead.

this is your opinion, i was bored of sc way before i ever got bored of warring. And i never said the community was larger, i simply said warring was a Large part of the Bnet community.. realisticlly it probably was only about 1/4th at the time.. which is still considerable. and yes warring is dead
