I have dynamic IP AND anonymiser but I don't really use them. I'll start if we're behind, which we're not.

    Go us. (Not the clan)

I think site staff should affiliate with more 'topsites' voting portals...

Now that sc2 is on vacation I think it's impossible to implement and it would even encourage inflation but I had the idea of making the vote button earn you about 20 minerals. This could add up to about 600 minerals a month, which is not bad imho. It would encourage people to vote and that's exactly why I thought of this: to see how many votes we could get in if we pumped the votes just as furiously (if not more) as we did from the second half of this month. It'd be awesome to destroy all competition with like 500 votes ;D

20 sounds like too much, how about something like 10 min, since its faster than posting and most post don't make that much unless you have a lot to say.

I don't know how the system works but right here (UTC+1) it's 07.11.01 now but my votes won't get added. Anyway, we have a new rival, Starsite, who might pose a threat to our rightful 1st place. All the others have proven to be worthless against our masses of clicks :)

So, let's prepare to clog the site with our votes again! ;D

Thanks for getting an early start guys. If we just beat them from the beginning we don't have to keep checking. :D

Why does it still list us as having 1 vote?  I am sure I am not the only one to vote

Did you all vote today already before the reset took place?

Well Im sorry to burst your bubble BoP I dont think you have voted either because when I went to the site to vote (before I made my post) it had 1 vote. (even though im not sure if it was from me) Even though I would be curious how long it takes that site to update also I would be curious how they track whether or not someone's vote counted? My guess would be only 1 ip adress can vote every 24 hours but they may do it a different way.

I voted as well and it's not showing up.

What probably is happening is that it's going off of GMT time and so our votes aren't counting because you may have voted for yesterday.... etc....

Sometimes those sites work strangely. Give it a few hours, see if it updates, and then vote again if necessary. So long as you click once a day or so we'll pwn the other sites without batting an eye.

HMM. Well I don't think I have voted on this PC in the past few days. I usually do that on the 1-3 PCs I use at school.

Let's not forget that this is the same voting site that offers the option of paying for a free 100 votes.

Not exactly the most reputable institution known on the internet.

Especially with the site that specializes in "hacking" only 3-4 spots below us.

EDIT: Haha, found the problem. I believe it operates based on the IP's local time, so I don't think you're eligible to vote for next month's round until your own time has passed midnight and the date there has changed to 11/1.

It's currently 11:48 pm for me, so I guess I'll just test it when it hits midnight. :D

Because they paid for it. It's really a violation of democracy itself. :D
