Vikings: not so versatile on the ground...

    In my opinion, the Viking is sort of like the Protoss Scout from Starcraft 1. In numbers, it is a great AA unit, but against ground it is only support, and is only good against a small amount of forces.

    No. Think of the coding problems. When is it moving as an air unit? When is it moving as a ground unit?

    That would probably be a trivial thing to code. Moving while doing an animation? Also, the game already has to decide when it's an air unit and when it's a ground unit- as part of the animation happens in the air, and part happens on the ground.
