Variable damage output and unit ranking

    I say keep it how it is. If you put in a ranking system then it takes away some of the strategy in the game. I prefer to know that my zealot will kill these two zergling without worrying that they have an extra 5 damage per attack and an extra 20 health each. It makes the game less strategic and more Warcraft 3'ish.

    If anything, a ranking system would increase the strategic elements in SC2 because focus firing would get a new meaning as would dancing.

    But I'm against any kind of effect resulting from a higher rank.

    Would increase in some aspects, decrease in other ones (like holding your units in life, better to keep some and let other die etc.)... So im against it, especially because it removes the old idea of holding all your units at life...

    I'm liking Kuvasz's idea. It doesn't do anything to upset the balance of the game, while still allowing players a good opportunity to say "Ha-ha, I'm better than you!" ;D
