Unknown Protoss Structure

They were kinda close to the base's edge and to those Photon Cannons to be a Forge or CC. I used to build those isolated in their little corners so as not to lose my upgrade progress if they're destroyed.

 

The new Pylon? I mean the electricity pylons in our world are pretty tall and massive. And it would make sense because the Protoss are now residing in Shakuras and they need these new higher pylon structures to capture the Psionic Energy that are emitted from Aiur.

 

Shakuras is just as good as Aiur to the Dark Templars, even better because they've adapted to it more. Pretty soon the other Protoss will adapt as well, and there won't be a need to tap Aiur.

 

Hmm thats a tough one since we have very little to work with. I noticed that there was a second one close by. It didn't create a ring of power so its not a pylon of some kind. It didn't attack the reapers so its probably not a defensive structure (ground anyway). And it doesn't look like a production/resource structure to me.

I'm going to guess its a new shield recharger?

 

It could be like a Shield Battery, and it may also work on buildings but we don't know, or it could be an energy recharging structure, or maybe even a dreaded Psionic HP healing structure. Or it could be any combination of the three.

i bet is its just a new pylon or a new fleet beacon
