    If the Devoure had a freaking different attack it would be pritty cool, it had tons of freaking armor and life but it attacked so freaking slow i could bake a cake befor it attacked again...

    yea i agree, the slow attack rate really gets on my nerves

    The unit concept was cool and all but the attack needed to do dmg over time or it need to be less damage but faster. Something needs to give with them or else they just cant stay. I Never really used them when i played with zerg anyways because i felt there rate of attack would get them killed. I just used scourge and let mutas clean up the mess.

    It was too slow, possibly the slowest attack rate in the game. Whenever I built them, it would only be a small number of them to be a support unit for a muta attack.

    The Devourer really did suck, only being useful against air crafts, and some units, and it was slow, it wouldn't be my first choice in battle.

    But this is exactly how they are supposed to be used according to blizzard's own idea when they designed the unit. I see them as a caster unit, except they use thier "spell" as normal attack instead

    The Defiler. I could never get into this unit, and it was so bloody weak for a teir three unit. Was I missing something with it. The Queen was much more useful as a caster unit. I could stand to lose the Ultralisk as well. I liked it as a concept but mine always just got killed. It needs to be stronger and more powerful.

    I liked the DS because it was so useful for UMS maps.

    The Devourer these are cool but when i thought of buying them i just thought, are they going to be useful? i played zerg more than the other 2 and the devourer is just useless but it does have nice armor ^_^

    if u massed Devourerd thats a dead give away your a noob. Also it attacked to slow when u needed it to stack its effect. There armor is great but if you only had a few whats the chances of them being hit anyways?? it made no sence at all for them to have all that armor and only use a few.

    THey were good flesh shields though :)

    The unit i want to see gone is the devourer because it is the least used unit in the game. I can't ever help but look at it and say to my self. Whats the point of this?

    It's a useful, albeit misused unit. You weren't supposed to have JUST Devourers. You were to mix them with Mutalisks. Four Devourers with twelve Mutas could tear though ALOT of air units. BC's with a couple spores were nearly useless because of the massive cooldown time. Dev's had specific uses, and were incredible if you knew what to do with them.

    yeah but its there overwhelimg armor that is pointless. 4 devours and 8 mutas vs 2 BCs 6 Wraiths and 2 Valkrays is not a win. devours only beat out protoss air easly.

    Devourers should be used for hit and run tactics on important/big air units. Like carriers and Battlecruiers. Especially if they're massed. 9 spores on a battle cruiser and a mutalisk would do 14 damage without upgrades. Plus the battlecruiser would shoot like twice as slowly. Anyways, the concepts' awesome, even if the unit wasn't

    well if i throw the bcs in first the rest of the air units will be doing most of the fighting anyways. but i like the look for the devoure i just never used it. for that reson i feel it dosent need a place in SC2.(only the sc2 editor).

    I still don't really use them. Hit and run tactics aren't me specialty. I prefer larger, desicive battles. Also the cost of making just one devourer is 250 minerals and 150 gas, at that price, it should be able to kill units by itself or in small groups easily.

    The guardian, costing 150 minerals and 200 gas is not only cheaper, but is much more effective when assulting bases or turning back enemy armies.

    Yeah. It would be awesome if the concept came back. If not, and it was placed in the editor, I hope you can change the maximum spores allowed or change how much each spore affects the victim.

    Protoss Units that could be gone?

    Are threre any Protoss units from the first game that you want gone? I would like the courasiar gone cause' it only did five damage per hit. Sure it had ensanere, but other than that I didn't use it that much.
