Ultralisk Concept Art at GDC `08!

And in my opinion you should stop persuading people to agree with yours -_^ The ultralisk is huge, and beastly looking. It has 4 blade arms/tusks instead of two, a cool change. I also like the changes to the upper body, very nice, makes it look even more gigantic. The color aint too bad either. I like how they took the same unit and gave it a make over, good job Blizzard :good:

 

imo the ultralisk has a head so big thats it weedy little neck wouldn't be able to support the wieght thus causing probably the stupidest looking animal ever too evolve

 

I havn't tried to persuade anyone. :]
But overall like I've said I like the direction they're taking the Ultralisk and I'm sure they'll make it perfect in the end.

Blizzard really should make its head smaller
there's no way it would be able to balance
let alone running straight at the enemy and slicing them into itty bittty pieces

 

Looks like a mutated Sc1 Hydralisk, with the head thing and thick claws.

Don't think so linear. It has the big head plate like a Hydralisk and thicker (no longer sickle) claws which kinda resemble a Hydralisk. Also note I said mutated.
Don't play to strongly on the simple remarks I post, I just like to think like that. ;]

Ya I understand how hard it is to read some of the posts. And to tell the truth it wasn't really worth the effort.

 

the ultralisk looks cool but i really don't see how something that big will be able to run around quickly like the ultralisk in SC1. I think that Blizz should slim it up a bit but try to keep it beastly. ( I know that those statements contradict eachother) really Blizz should make it so that it looks like it can run fast.

 

if you notice in sc1, the ultralisk lifts up its hind legs to run, kind of like a cheetah. The Ultralisk's new model is sweet, but, its motions look like they could resemble too much like an elephant. Yes blizz, please make sure the ultralisk looks agile but beastly.

 

is there any video been release of the ultra or is there only the picture?
it would be nice to see exactly how it runs in the current model

yeah i don't think that there will be a video of any zerg units till they release them, but you never know with the Koreans getting stuff released earlyer than North America.
