    They seriously arent that bad.

    So is the thor the "super unit" of terran and the mother ship of protoss?

    You could say that. Although since they've made the mothership weaker, they seem to be less "superweapons" and more like "top-tier" units.

    I thought it was confirmed that the Thor isn't a super unit (never was), and Mothership no longer is either.

    Ultimate Heavy Assualt Mech though seems a little much for the Thor and how it acts in actual gameplay so far. The title should be more like "heavy artillery support mech" Since it really can't "assualt" much without having support to protect it and it moves slowly and is vunerable.

    ^ its true,the first time I saw it I thought it could take down a base with just 1-2 Thors.

    Well I guess it depends on how large and well protected the base is. it's not like the defenses are gonna do anything as they would most likely be out of range.

    If they keep the abilities of the Science Vessel, you could cast Defensive matrix on thor and then it would have a shield. My God it would be tough to kill. You can also use the nano thing that the Nomad has to fix it quick.

    Defense Matrix is now AoE and halves any damage units in it recieve.

    really? I didn't know. That'll be a pretty interesting game dynamic. The quick solution to defensive matrix was always to kill everything else without that shield first. I think that might make the defensive matrix a bit more useful in SC2.

    In that case, I want some kind of a dispel ability. Like Restoration, I guess, but works on enemy buffs as well. Or I could just hit 'em harder.

    I don´t want dispels. They may make sense but you should have to deal with enemy spells instead of just removing them. Dispels would be a hard counter to all abilities that don´t deal direct damage. The abilities should force you to adapt your strategy not force you to build dispellers.

    DM is now changed but remember that it won´t move with the effected units and therefore restrict mobility if you want to take advantage of it. And it will work on enemys. It reminds a bit of Dark swarm (indication that DS wont make it?)
    Personally I like it.

    I agree, dispel isn't for StarCraft. The whole mess in War3 where you put it on, I take it off, was just stupid. Then they made it worse by putting in even more ways to dispel in the expansion. And all that spell resist, spell immune, sometimes it works, sometimes not at all, craziness was just dumb.

    Not that I'm worried that they'll actually include things like dispel, I just want to say that I think they should keep SC clean. An ability is an ability, you deal with it with skill. It's much simpler yet is a better design IMO, where more strategic play is possible without things getting stupid.

    @Commander:

    I am betting the Immortal will be better suited since the colossus is for killing infantry while the immortal was made for taking on heavy units and taking damage *plays damage king*
