wow! Terran suddenly got Gundam

 

lol i know it reminds me of heavy arms and i say its about time

 

I wish b/c that would be awesome, but gundams can fly and have huge freaking swords. And they're much more agile.

Gundam > Thor.

 

I actually think it looks a bit like two robots stuck together but its a nice idea, just a bit more model work

 

Heavy arms eh?How I wish it to be and serve the course...one heavy arms can own a whole map.

 

hmm i kinda liked the storybehind it. The cliffhanger at the ends hints at the hints at the counter unit Cobra. The story behind Cobra will be interesting i think

 

What by what plus what equals to what?I don't get it.You mean the story behind the invention of the cobras?

 

I can't wait for the cobra to be revealed. but we always only talk about cobra countering the Thor what in the Protos counters the Thor warp rays maybe?

 

/\ definitely the warp rays are one good counter. I think Thor's AA is probably at least a little weaker than its GTG (which is amazing). The warp ray specializes in taking out opponents with high HP... like Mr. Thor.

 

Warp-rays look like something horny that pokes air units...Its gonna be breathe taking to see Thor going down in the battlefield cause I doubt there cheap and when I mean breathe taking I meant asthma.

 

What if the Thor had an upgradable later-game ability that allowed it to "lift off" like Terran buildings.

Of course, it wouldn't be able to fire during this period but it would be a good way to let it move other places rather than being stuck.

 

Then its gonna be slow,probably gets shot down even before it gets to destination.

 

So? Sufficient weakness if you ask me.

At least it can pass over terrain more readily.

 

at least it will meet AA units on the way over the terrains.

 

Dude. It's the Thor. If you want it to travel it's going to have to be weak against SOMETHING for the time being.

 

I Like the idea of jets although I was thinking they would be standard and of course it would move real slow like CC slow and wouldn't be able to fire. At least the turn rate would be better

 

changing time?I still love the idea he can fly,as for the weakness well its true every unit needs a weakness to be balance instead of being imba.

Myself im not that big a fan of the thor. I think its cool how it can be built up anywhere but the fact that its just slow doesnt really suit me. I can't imagine in my head what kind of fool would allow an army consisting of an amount of thors to be created leading me to believe that come competition time the thors will see no action. Maybe for base defence it might be pretty cool
