Does anyone know how old the first screenshot is? I don't believe that it's all that recent, due to the fact that there is a Reaver in the upper right hand corner of the screenshot.The last two I'm pretty sure are post-Blizzcon. Looks like the Archons change their color as well now. The TA in the thrid screenshot is red. I just noticed for the first time how good the trees look in this game. This could be a little exaggeration, but it looks as good as CoH's.

I have no idea as to its age. It is screenshot 48/48 and is on the Thor page but it never lists a date

It seems that Blizzard has changed the look of the colossus's thermal lance. Now it's a bunch of skinny beams all spread out, instead of single beams that looked more intense. I wonder if this means that they've also changed the actual properties of the colossus's attack.

Dont think they are post blizzcon, the old tank ceased to exist during blizzcon.

I lowered the width by 70 pixels and they now link to the larger size if you click on them.

Has anyone noticed that in the 3rd screenshot, the Twilight Archon's model is smaller? In the Twilight Archon section, they were much bigger then Marines and Stalkers. But in that particular screenshot, their size were similiar to the Stalkers.

Maybe it's just the angle problem?

I think it is an angle issue. I am sure they are the same size. Most of the shots we have seen of the archon were lower angles.

As for the arm cannons, they were used in the original Terran gameplay demo video.

But it looks pretty sweet!!!

 

awesome, i like the gear sounds of the thor... very nice. also i love the animation of the barrage. very powerful looking. Lastly, everytime i see the thor turn it's almost orgasmic.

 

It says that on the page that the Thor can be built in a surprisingly short time frame or something like that. Exactly how long does it take?

 

Im not sure. I am assuming it takes a little longer than a tank. In the video I am sure they had Operation CWAL on so thats a bad measure for it.

 

of cause they did,its a demo they can't possibly let all those fans just sit there and wait for the build time to be over,that will really piss fans off.Oh and the Thor's siege mode sure takes time away.

 

i dont think they mean it takes that long to build. probably a little less than a factory i guess...

 

my guess would be around or under a minute. I think it would be towards the lower end of the building scale.

Also like a building, if the scv is driven away/killed, you can probably just get another to finish the job and repair any damage to the Thor.

 

collosus beam looks interesting, i think it will start off with several beams and then combine onto the target.

edit; on closer inspection its actually the same beam as before
