Well that's certainly put a damper on things...

OMFG... overheating is not an issue!

I'm running almost the exact setup of what I gave you (but my processor is more expensive) and I haven't had a single problem even with it in a cabinet. My video card has a temp gauge and it's sitting at 79 degrees. That's cooler than the room it's in!

    I hope you're talking in Fahrenheit... :p

Just a quick hypothetical, mainly just for curiosity's sake, seeing as you're able to ship the SC2F shirts worldwide, would it be possible for you guys to ship the computer parts to us, non-Americans? Obviously it'd be more expensive than the shipping of the shirts, as it's heavier, bulkier, and wouldn't be able to be the bare minimum shipping costs as it would have to be worth your time...

Just use your own discount parts dealer. There's gotta be someone...

Also, of course I meant Fahrenheit and not Celsius.

Anyway, the second tutorial is up! Enjoy!

It's very tempting. I'd go with this except I have to save up $2000 and $700 is a lot when you need $2000.

Yeah, I know. Was only fooling.

Relax. It's not like anyone's going to completely fry their GeForce FX 5500 by not reading the warning and taking it out of its packaging before discharging any static that time I updated my graphics card...

You'd be surprised. I had a cat totally fry a motherboard once. Not pretty.

Jon, would you happen to know a cheap online store that ships internationally? Alternatively, do you know the cost for having such a pack shipped to central Europe? You got me dreaming about a new system.

No, I'm not really an expert on world shippers but you could try eBay. I'm sure it's going to cost you more in general for shipping.

Amazon I think also ships international.

Lastly you can try google. I just googled quickly and hit like five different ones, one was http://www.bigfiveshop.com

I meant shipping if a person sends the pack, because I could have that done. Google didn't give me anything on such fees, which is why I asked.

Ummm... having someone ship stuff to you for you? That's gonna be pretty pricey international...

I mean I shipped a mouse and a keypad and it cost me like $25.

'Course flat rate you could probably ship it all for under $100. I would still go with an international shipping components seller.

Amazon seems fair with the prices, but it doesn't seem to have combo discounts... I'll dig around though.

As a side note, I thought this site got a cut after Newegg purchases, which is why I would've preferred to buy stuff from there.

Well ya we did but I can't find the affiliate link LOLZ. :D But it doesn't matter. Unless like 100 people were to buy this using our link it wouldn't bring us much revenue. If you spent $600 we'd only get like $20.

It'd be better if you just bought T-shirts with some of the money you saved! ;)

Do we even know what the final system specifications for SC2 are?! But thanks for posting a helpful tutorial, I think this will be useful to alot of people on the site.
