sure its a ENgine cinematic not a pre rendered!

blizzrad makes the Cinematics, like the marine intro, only for the single player campaign!
one small cinematic can take months of production, they would do that for a zerg reaviling!
its the same technec they use with jim raynor campaign sort cinematic,

But as an ingame cinematic was very good!and atmosperic!

now imagine this Queen in a reall CG render Cinematic!!!!oh boy that gona rock!!!
but Kerrigan will look much better :p

if only Blizzard made a Starcraft Movie they won i think 5 years in a row the prize of BEST Cinematic Videos!
animatrix its kidengurden to them :p

    LOL :D :D agree!!!!

oh the WoW movie there is NO WAY it will be a ingame movie!
    it is CG and actors.
leave the actors for the voices and keep the CG only :p

OMG I like this HD video! The only thing I miss is the comments.. I really liked the terran and protoss trailers.. I hope they will make one like those for the Zerg too.

Does anybody know what kind of rig this was running on? Cause I do notice a quite a bunch of slow-down, especially in the end. I'm a little bit worried this was running on a high end rig (like 2.8gh Dual-Core with a 8800GT or something like that), and it still slowing down. Especially in the end.

Would suck if the game came out and even a top of the line PC would get you slow-down at high graphics settings.

i am disapointed that people have good pcs and Dont know about them or even worst how to make them Work at maximum!!

i will try to help you out:
if you are talking about the HD video, the above Settings should be more than enough,
you problem lies in Codeks in my opinion.

try reamove all previous codex, plugins, like dvix, etc and download and install this Package at Full install, have the latest drivers Installed for your vga and configured like this:

I don't have a rig like that myself, just a laptop. And I don't use codecs, I just use VLC. Not having any problems with other videos slowing down or anything, you sure you don't see the slowdown in the vid, especially in the end with all the Zerg V.S. the Protoss? Well, weird. That said I don't see it in Blizzard's official Zerg Reveal video, so I'm a little less worried.

if you are talking especially in the last Multy unit Battle that has few frame-drops, i have Noticed that my self ITS NOT the VIDEO its the Software that was USED to Capture this Video and tha game IT SELF! :(

sound bad i know, but if in that momment the game had about 70FPS and the computer recording this into a .avi file wasnt so strong, then the final product its this small frame drops, its compressed with H264 filters and you shouldnt have problems in smaller scale battles! But still you need a good hardware.if your laptop has an onboard VGA like those Intel Xpress etc, forget it its just useless vga, intel has the worst vgas ever!

software like Frasp are used to capture those video, Blizzard HASNT YET made any self recording engine, (that would be Perfect).

and dont forget this was made By Blizzard Just for the 1st Release i am 10000% sure that the Final Zerg Gameplay Video willbe about the same size, BUT BETTER FRAMES no drops and Narator ;-)
