Maybe they can be upgrades to catapults!

I don't like Thor, I think is too much, and, if I saw well that video, Thor artillery attack burn the CC to ashes very quickly

Thor is perfect its not supposed to be fast for the sake of balance and again sc is about large army battling again large army so if u made it cheap and fast paragon then ppl will just keep making them and other units will be useless. starcraft is not about focusing on 1 unit remember that and keep it in ur heads

The Thor is just a siege support unit, it's not for butchering huge groups of small units without it's energy attack. all in all it's a big Siege Tank (or a ground Battle Cruiser) unless you have some super hate for swarming units this guy is just one huge Siege Tank who can kill of a base guard before the main army hits them.

Why would it be like a Siege tank? The only connection I see is that both would be usefull at Sieges. It is big and will eat AoEs but thats what he is made for- the enemy has only so much attack potential the more he attacks the Thor the less have your other troops to suffer, and the SC2 Terrans have some tools to keep one big unit alive on the nomad. NO other Terran unit is designed to take hits like for example the Ultralisk.
The Siege tank is a mobile Artillery unit not a "Tank" in a Gameplay sense.

The Thor fills a mobile artillery role and as for taking a hit though he can take quite a pounding I don't find it likely that a Terran player would put a Thor in a position where it's going to take a lot of hits unless he had a lot of ways to keep it alive. losing a Thor on the battle field can do a lot of damage to a Terran player. sending one of these up front like many do with Ultralisks to take a hit would be silly at best. It would be used best as support siege like a Siege Tank.

    Why would it be silly?

Ultralisks cost 200/200/6, thor costs 300/300/6 and has 300 more HP, and can get insta 200hp repairs, its a much better tank than the ultralisk, and gives all the other terran units(who have more firepower than survivability) the time to blow up stuff.

The thor, like i've said in other threads and maybe this one aswell, is a choke point breaker, or a stormtrooper if you will, send him in, blast around, get the innitial pounding of the enemy and send in the rest of the force, or thats what i'll be using him for at least.

The Thor seems fine as it is although it would be cool if it crushed infantry when it walks

The Terran Thor, is very large and very effective against large units like the Protoss Colossus,
but, im so disappointment because, the Thor is very weak against small units like, the Protoss Zealots and Terran Reapers. :) how sad :)

It is weak against zealots and reapers?! I did not know that. What I knew was it was weak against fast moving units that can out turn it.

Couldn´t agree more. According to a Excel Table from TL.net the Thor deals 12+12(v.armored)*2 Damage, compared to the Siege tanks Siege cannons 50+50(v.armored)Splash shot. Even if the Thor shoots faster the Tank has a lot more firepower, maybe it comes somewhat close with the 250mm when you compare power/food.
The Thor will be used together with the Nomads nanorepair and Defense Matrix or not at all. With 700 HP 2 base Armor it is even more durable than the Protoss Mothership with 300HP300Shield (unknown armor as of yet.)

The Thor isn´t actually weak against small units but shurely ineffecient.

Because they already used that model for the new Siege Tank ;). Too bad that the official site tells more about Politics and espionage than the unit itself. It is still nice to see it completely official. But at least we are shure now that there will be more innerterran conflicts in SC2.
