I miss the chance to miss mechanic when shooting up high elevations. I'm not really complaining about it. It's just, I'm going to miss the mechanic since I made a lot of maps based on that system.

Unless its available to change in the editor. Then I'm fine :)

After watching a bunch of pro korean stuff, I'm kind of sad the Terrans lost the science vessel and the vulture. They replaced them with the more generic and similar hellion and thor - too much like Halo/mech stuff.

The thor isn't a replacement for the vessel, the nighthawk is:

    Nighthawks are detectors

    Auto-Turret
The Nighthawk has the ability to drop an auto-turret at a resource cost. The turret is a decent defender and makes for an even better harasser. It lasts until destroyed; it does not have a timed life

    Spider Mine
The Nighthawk's spider mines function much like their equivalent in StarCraft I, but they are unlimited in quantity. Each mine does 50 damage plus an additional 50 damage against armored units. They are effective against massed tier 1 units, such as zerglings or zealots.

    Targeting Drone
Targeting Drones are flying unitswhich shine a laser on an enemy unit, giving a +50% damage boost to targeted units. Only one drone can target one unit at a time. The drone is cloaked. The targeting laser can be seen even without the use of detectors.
The drone has 120 hit points, and is immobile.
They do not have a timed life

I didn't know about the nighthawks abilities, those actually look promising. In that case, I wish they'd change the hellion from a Halo Warthog back into a hover bike thing. The Thor is cool, but just doesn't feel right for some reason...

^^ Almost eeryone agrees on the Thors problems but i dont like the fact that they took out drop pods i thought that was a cool mechanic that makes ghosts more worth the expense

On a side note, It'd be extremely awesome if the Thor could pack Drop Pod (look at the size of that thing, tell me it cannot hold cargo pods :p), and launch them at a distance.

Though, that would intervene with RA3's Bullfrog transport, and Warhammer's Drop Pods... sigh.
