Things we don't like in Starcraft2

    Starcraft 2 was made from scratch, they didn't re-use anything. They barely replicated a running animation.
    The reason they look similar is because Blizz consider that to be the best way for a humanoid unit to run with a two-bladed weapon.

    A lot of people seem to dislike the graphics. However, I got a chance to play SC2 at Blizzcon last year, and I can say that graphics look way better in person. I was really impressed when I saw how good everything looked.

    That being said one thing i dislike is the way dark templars currently look, but I think that I heard they are changing the look.

    I wouldn't be worried about graphics, blizzard did an excellent job on SC, they probably are just trying to finish more important things before getting into the graphics seriously.

    You gotta look back at SC alpha. For alpha I'd say this looks pretty damn good so far, and as zerodown said their probrably still working on other components before seriously getting into graphics.

    Oh and Nighthawk looks kickass

    I dont like the zerg so far either, I always hoped to see an outstanding animation when a building is evolving. Dont like how the ghosts are looking either, I always pictured them as slim athletic, they just increased their size, dont like it.

    Would be nice to see Ghosts as females too... but then it wouldnt be so interesting to see female ghosts like Kerrigan pre infest or Nova, but absolutely fits my conception of stealth assasin.

    I wish starcraft's graphics was very similar to the way street fight 4 is. and same goes for diablo 3.
    Just picture 3d sprites.

    I like the Starcraft visuals.

    Except for the Colossus' death.

    Yeah the colossus death was underwhelming. I know protoss "teleport" when about to die, but... I wish I could see the colossus collapse instead of just disappear.

    The only thing other thing I don't like is not being able to shoot up a hill like in SC w/o vision. I really had fun with that system.

    yeah thats because of the clear and clean screen competitive multiplayer games pro wanabees wants. bs, vision and anticipate your units and enemy units very well during a messy war, falling colossus part, etc. if you can't then your nothing but a noob afterall. its part of the game and its a war what do you expect..

    Whoa whoa, you got wrong idea down yo. I'm not implying STUNNING motions from the game at all man. I meant something like the BC, just a break down and death. Something not too distracting because I understand anything too flashy gets distracting. I said in former posts from months ago, I believe in a combination of great but limited visuals + thought out gameplay systems . That is one huge assumption from you when it is onlyt ONE minor opinion about a unit. Saying I'm a graphics ***** (this is what i'm assuming you're calling me) was a little too big based on this.

    Now, I am a noob about tactics, I know that, I don't need to deny it. But I am definitely not a graphics *****. Infact, I play SC for the creativity of the story and the great map editor which allows me to use my creativity. But I do plan on learning how to play SC better when the game is released.

    why would they even teleport it back? it is unmanned!, it should just break down like the interceptors or the probes

    I agree with the WC3 comment, especially with the current voices and sounds of units which sound ridiculous. Units are too bulky and deserve more realistic movements. god. Starcraft 1 terran ground had basic units for specific (and very strategic) purposes. Rine>basic attack, Firebat> radial but short range, and Medics> for unit maintenence. Starcraft2 units have marines, jetpack rines with explosives?? cmon
    It would be cool if destroyed battle cruisers can crush land units upon impact.

    I hate .... :

    1. THE BATTLECRUISER. Frankly I looove this unit, but I hate its model. I love the new Yamato cannon and the new plasma ray. The problem is its form, its model. This unit, this flying structure is too faty, too WARCRAFTISH. This unit should be remodeled a bit on its sides.

    2. THE THOR. Frankly I looove this unit too. But I hate its size. This unit should have its size reduced a bit. It should be a bit tiny in comparition to any Terran Structure. It does not seem the Thor is able to be build from the factory cause this unit is bigger than this structure

    the Battlecruiser does not have Plasma Ray anymore it now has the choosing between the Yamato Cannon, Missile Barrage(air to air attack with large aoe), and Defense Matrix(on self only, adds 200 health for 20 seconds)

    you mean the eight little lasers that it uses for its normal attack? if so yes.

    good. was worried they would give it some lame attack with longer delays between each shot. constant fire is so much better.

    hopefully the colossus will have its constant firing beams returned to it.
