ok to the point of this post,
i prefer that either units be a bit slim[not too much]or increase the size of the map...
    thats all...
but the one now is good...

They have to remove the pointless fluff of (zooming in) scrolling down. It is not cool, it doesn't look good. It is supposed to replicate cinematics, so make it replicate maybe like what gta does, something involved and dynamic.

I like the way they put in the zooming and and such. It helps to create a great single player experience.

One thing I hate in Starcraft is the fact that the selected units don't bother together. When you select a group of 12 units and you send them somewhere they don't approach toward each other to form a group. No, one unit will be far from the others, and you will have ALWAYS to select those who are not well positioned and re-send him to the group.

    Blizzard should fix that.

OR ..... Blizzard should add some formations for the races. The Terran could be in lines to face the enemies, the Protoss could from a sort of organized group to face the enemy, and the Zerg ... well they are insects with no intelligence, so no formation for them

I agree. Only if there is an option to have the old SC 1 way of doing things too. Cause for me formations are useful at times and no formations (microing) is useful too at other times.

Formations would be useless since units always move at their own speed. As soon as you gave them a move command, the formation would break. Also, I think it'd be redundant and cause clutter, so I hope we don't see formations in SC2.

As long as its fun, I don't really give a crap.

  8. Blizzard couold never make a formation better than I when I need to do something .. I vote nay for formations. It's never been as useful as people think in other games.

Like a cube? I think it looks more like an X, really. And even if you're talking about the Crucio Siege Tank in Assault Mode, I'd still argue that the old one was boxier and the new one is sleaker.

What kind of tank are you comparing it too? An IRL one? :) Remember that this is a "spacetank". :p
I think it looks a lot like a tank in assault form anyways.

I doubt they will keep the old voice. I kinda even doubt that they will use a similar voice this time, because the new Siege Tank driver looks a lot different and the voice will most likely change accordingly.

They might keep some of the lines though, such as "Absolutely!".

The game is not fast as the original starcraft due to the graphics on this game.

    what?

you mean it will be slower gameplay because it takes more processing power? the technology to process faster increases as much as the technology to make games that need that processing does.

  16. Not to mention that the average graphics card out now should be able to run this game without too many problems.

  18. A computer that old isn't worth the electricity running through it.

(Less than Pentium 1.4Ghz, GeForce FX 5200)

    ... JK, though :D

I did notice the running animation of the Dark Templar resembles Illidan's from WC3. The engine they use for each game are similar so it makes sense that they would reuse assets. I think they'll change it as they've said before they want Starcraft to shine separately from WC3. ie: not simply be "Warcraft in Space"

The game has been changing in several different ways over the course of production and there is no release date yet so there's still time to modify things.

I would like to see more burly mech style units, but that's me and my love for Mech Commander.

I think the hero units will be SP only, as they wanted to keep that as a WC3 feature, though the campaigns are more fun with story element characters running around.
